    Afternoon all

Well the barking has continued to point DH is saying I need a dog license. We have decided that going into cold caravan is not sensible, so staying home, which is a bummer, but no fun trying to talk when hoarse. Woke myself up each hour last night.

BM on, scanning and shredding paper, Bathroom cleaned, will conside the tree and decorations later if I feel up to it.

    ((:grouphug:)) all round.

:D Hi bargainbird are you doing a knitted curly scarf or a crochet one???
this is the one most of us have been doing on the Knit your square thread,

    http://www.caron.com/projects/bliss/B5_ruffle_scarf.html
    (hope this works)

Kathy posted it originally and it's very popular at the moment, lots of folk getting them for Christmas, nice, quick and easy to do as well, but it's all in US terms so needs converting to UK.

    Happy Ruffling

...I bought the wool from www.worldofwool.co.uk :) - they are unspun merino tops - you just grab handfuls off the end of the skein and it's lovely and soft...

Cel, how much wool did you use for your wrap? It's absoultely gorgeous and I've got just the occasion next year for one in ivory ;)

Hubby has a couple of day's work for a friend so that is keeping him busy & bringing some money in.
I'm putting my Christmas tree up tomorrow & the DGK's will come to see it once it's up, I have decided not to buy any chocolates for the tree (actually I forgot) but someone gave hubby a tin of Quality Street & he only likes 2 flavours & I need to eat more chocolate like I need a hole in the head. So I have tied gold coloured thread to the rest of the Quality Street & I'm going to hang them on the tree. I think they will look very pretty & I'm also sure the DGK won't mind, after all chocolate is chocolate, however it is wrapped.
    Have a good evening.
    Hugs Hester

  • Evening all

We did our last Santa's Grotto today in work and it went well. And my boss let us finish an hour early today :D I've only got 3 more days left in work til my holiday :j

I remembered to go to M&S after work and got some new bra's. The underwire poked out of mine earlier this week. 2 for £14 which is great cos I'm big b00bed and they normally cost loads.

Tea is HM celery soup with HM bread from my BM :D I made the soup last night whilst cooking my stirfry. It smells yummy.

    Have a good evening
