Scrooge - could you add me when you uodate the list tomorrow please?
So far I'm £35 up and another £7.50 in my bingo britain account...just need to read up on the posts about how best to get it out/keep getting bonuses now that they have started the 72hr thing. Not counting the £7.50 until it's back in my account as I may mess it up
Other ideas I'm considering:-
Doing something like Avon/Betterware (not either of those I have a different one in mind) so I'm just reading up on that
Selling cakes at car boot sales - need to look into the legal stuff around that
Selling plants at car boot sales - also thinking about selling salad hanging baskets or strawberry hanging baskets
Selling my old books - might struggle with that as I love swapping books with friends
Ebay - mmmmmmmmmm...will need to buy something to resell and I'm a bit of a chicken...
Crafts - I would love to come up with something crafty to do that I could then sell at boot sales/craft fairs
Edible gifts - at Christmas I usually make most of my gifts (except for the kids!) shortbread, christmas puds, sweets, truffles etc. I'm wondering if I could put some prices together and let friends/family know that I can make things up for them - perhaps link in with seasonal things like Easter/Valentines and then birthdays throughout the year
Party bags - I've looked at this before and don't think that there is that much money in it in my area, but I would love to make eco-party bags e.g. Cloth bag, recycled/biodegradable toys, seeds, homemade (organic/fairtrade?) cupcake etc.
Now I just need to move on from having the ideas to actually doing something!!!!0 -
What about baby clothes, anyone think they are a decent investment? I've got £1000 of my student loan to play with IF I wanted but I'd need to make at least that backMoney money money.

Just a warning about Bingo Britain I don't know if anyone else has found this but I played my free £5 this morning and won £10. I still have 152minutes to go until I can withdraw but as my balance is below £20 I need to deposit... So I went to the deposit screen and got a message that says my account balance exceeds the amount at which a deposit can be made! Think they are definately cracking down. Anyone know how I can 'rescue' my £10 or what the maximum is to deposit? Thanks0

I think the selling plants at carboot sales is a good idea - I love gardening but obviously money is an issue.....when we did a few carboots last year I always disappeared off to have a look at the plant stalls and got a few bargains! The ones I bought from had good plants, but were pretty cheap - there was a stall which had garden centre prices....not going to pay that much! I got some hardy geraniums got about 30p (only a little plant).....but if you think that will just have been split from their plant at home so a good mark up!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I won £20 on BingoBritain last night and it let me withdraw it straight away. I will be interested to see if I have a £5 bonus in my account again this evening.
Thinking of screen printing as I have a machine at home for my business I am trying to set up but the business is quite specific.
Was trying to get hold of some blank white baby bibs but cant find any anywhere...
Also want to get some high quality flyers printed, any ideas on the best deals? Looking to get about 300 done.
Also looking for the best site to buy a picture that I can then use printed on gifts - any ideas????Make £10k in 2010 Challenge: £19.70/£10,000 : Items to sell = £54.61150 NSD in 2010 Challenge: 8/150"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose"0 -
Hiya
Can you add me as well. I'll be doing MSing, Ebaying, and carbooting, I think. My problem is trying to figure out what will sell for a profit, I think in the past I have ended up with a more duds than winners.
Good luck everyone.0 -

I started matched betting about 1 month ago so I'm going to use that as much as possible as it is a good way to earn a tidy sum. Also I have a spare room full of junk so I'm going to start selling on ebay this weekend.0 -
