Wow...those are really nice. I'm sure you would be able to sell them to shops and family and friends for more than a tenner. Good luck with it. Perhaps you need to contact your local Trading Standards if you haven't already just to find out what it all entails.

Hi all, I'm playing too. I've joined Bingo Britain and made back my £5 stake plus another £20 so I'm quids in even if I stop now.

Spent yesterday evening OFF the pc (gasps of astonishment from all who know me) and making bits to become necklaces and bag charms for Folksy. I've checked out the market on Etsy and Folksy and imho my stuff is nicer than similar stuff on there, so it's worth a punt. I think the local school Christmas fair will be my best bet though, so although I shall list a few things on Folksy my main aim will be to build stock and do a couple of Christmas fairs later on in the year. So my total will stay depressingly low for ages and then (hopefully) shoot up.

I'm going to make a point of wearing my own jewellery a lot more - if someone comments on it I might get the odd sale here and there too, although most of my stuff is one-offs but I could sell that one or make something else similar (the not getting too attached to stuff you are selling will come into play here, I think!).

I have a load of papercrafts stuff to use so I may do cards as well. I think I'll just see where the creative urge takes me and go with it.

Trying to list fabric without knowing the name of it is harddd :(
Everytime I go to list some I'm tempted to keep it as well :(

Anyone done any mystery shopping recently out of interest?

I do MSing but it's a little quiet this week, however, we (partner and I) do have some assignments lined up for Saturday and then so on.

Hi all, won another £10 yesterday on bingo britain, just pre-booked for today so fingers crossed. Updated my sig. Getting close to £100 now and not even 2010 yet. Have cash back to come in January from Caital One of about £120ish. Also some money on the way from Game duell. Does anyone else play the free game every day? I win about 15 games a month on average at about 46p a game. They take G£150 ( about £1.40?) when you withdraw so best to leave money in until it's built up a bit. Hope this helps someone.

  • Hi. This is something I was looking to get involbed with next year anyway so I'd love to join in. Please Add ME!
  • SkintBint - your cakes are fab! I can believe you sold you santa one for only £10!! I'd have bought 3 from you at that price! You should definately start charging more, I bought a cake for my sons christening in October from a cake shop in town and it cost me £65!! It looked like an open bible, white with blue bookmark down the middle and blue writing on it, also had a photo of ds in a small frame made from icing standing up on it, was a nice cake but not so nice price, and it was the cheapest in the shop!
Also loving the suggestion of divorce cakes! Young free and single cakes too! yum!
