you state in additional info that P n P costs include 23p Paypal fee-please do not bid if you are not happy with this-then you are covering yourself.
Be careful doing this- you might get vigilante buyers reporting you. And your listings pulled.

I'd just do it anyway if I was going to. Most people charge a little for packing time etc anyway.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

Hi everyone, tell you what, this thread is really keeping me going with this, thank you all :)
-had a productive outing to TK Maxx yesterday, spotted a couple of things at £5 and £3 that seem to be selling on Ebay at around £15-25! So will hopefully be good. Also picked up some stuff from a charity shop. Have taken photos and will be putting it on right after I get forced to play on Lego Star Wars (against my own will, obviously). Oh, and have done a bit on Dooyoo. Woohoo! Wish I could fastforward to Dec 2010 to see where everybody gets up to:)

Problem is I wanted to buy postage online as it is still very snowy and icy out and I keep slipping. It's a good 15 min walk to the post office but if I had postage and could put the item in the post box it would be better as the post box is much nearer. Also just realised at it's Saturday the post office closed at 12pm :(
If you get some orange stickers you can put it in the postbox. Not much help now though I know. :o

ETA: not just any orange stickers. :p:D

on the top left of the fat fingers website you will also see a link to watch count which is really useful too, if you are selling an item you can check and see listings with the most watchers, you'll see what i mean if you give it a try.

    That's brilliant ... Thanks skintbint :)

£38 back from BB, so £8 profit in the pot, also 5 out of 6 items selling on ebay £19.48 so far a couple of days still to push.

With the money back from BB still got £90 left from the £100.

Keep thinking of ideas but not sure they will make much return.

However heres a question, when starting an internet business where do you get your stock from and store it etc??? By this I mean if you need to offer a wide product range and also if it branded items. Rather than buying 1000 beer mats from china for example.

Whenever i've ever listed anything on Ebay, it never sells. That's anything, books, DVDs, a car... Also whenever i go on to Ebay to see what's selling, nothing ever really seems to have any bids on it. I've only ever sold one book - for about 99p i thnk and i made nothing on it really after searching out packaging, going to the post office... it really wasn't time well spent. I would love to be like you guys and feel some buzz from seeing my things sell on Ebay but don't really know where to start. I've done research to check out that i'm marketing my stuff in similar ways to other stuff that has sold. What are people selling? When i look around my house, there's only really books, DVDs and possibly some clothes but none of those are going to make much money and i'm worried that if i go down the Ebay route, i'll end up making a loss.
Sorry to sound negative - you're all doing so well, keep up the good work and thank you for your inspiring ideas xx

If its DVD's you want to sell have you tried CEX? They pay you either cash or for a higher rate you can exchange them for other things instore or online. Just take your DVD's to a branch of CEX or sign up online and post them in for some quick, easy cash. If you exchange, if clever you could make more of a profit depending on which items you choose.
  • Oh would also like to add that I would like to thank those guys who recommended FatFingers for some ebay bargains already bought a lovely skirt for 99p because they miss spelled the listing! Will make a profit on that me thinks :)

P.S where is everyone today its dead on here lol. Me thinks maybe on or two are posting on here whilst at work! (I have never done this, honest! :p)
