Hi guys, this is my first ever post on these forums (although i have been lurking for a long time)

Just wanted to say bing0 that this is a great thread, and cant believe it has taken me about 3 days to read all the posts from start to finish lol.

I think im the same as a lot of others, loads of tat or old stuff about the place, but until I read this didnt have the motivation to do anything about it. Well today im going to start the mass ebay clearance, and with my notepad full of ideas from reading this thread, I will give it my best shot to reach that 10k target!

I will put £100 in as my intial investment on top of the stuff I sell and I plan to keep all this money seperate, so that at the end of the year I can (hopefully) bask in all my glory lol.

I know im late, but could you add me to the never ending list please Scrooge2008

Depending on what it is, Kim and Aggie use hairspray I think.

Mabel, get yourself that MSN account! I too have suffered from panic attacks and depression, which is a major reason why I have opted for self-employment, so we can support each other with that as well.

Done it! will pm you :-)

    Thanks bing0,

    It's been a pleasure.

Could you copy and paste the list above on to the first page, as I have made a number of spelling mistakes, which have now been corrected, but which are still spelt wrong on page 1.

Just done it......once again thanks very much.

Recently on ebay I've been trying different selling techniques.I had lots of tiny items of not much value and quite light,(this doesn't matter to much about the weight-but for me it was easier)so what I did was list them for one day (not bothered if they sell for 99p) all listed at 99p,then used the assign automatic relisting. So basically I have a continuous list of cheap items always being listed for free. The results are very impressive,as quite a few of the items are and have been bid-up too! Just be careful as far as Paypal fees, they charge a minimim of 23p per transaction, regardles of the price,so if it sells for 99p,make sure you cover this amount in P & P costs,or you'll be doing it for not a lot at all ! I do not feel this is being deceitful so long as you state in additional info that P n P costs include 23p Paypal fee-please do not bid if you are not happy with this-then you are covering yourself.
One item went for £26.00 on it's own-considering I valued it at not a lot,I was very happy. So some items will get bid up and sold, others will just sell at 99p,but this happenens numerous times all the time, with the result being more than £300.00 on the first weeks trial of this system.
So the messege is to all you folks that 'think' you have no good value items-DO NOT WORRY.Follow the system mentioned and it will keep relisting free of charge till it sells.

    Hope this helps someone ?

    Kind regards bing0 :T:T:T:T

  • hello all,

off to a good start today i hope.

can anyone help me with how to keep track of my money tht i make for this challenge please?

my plan was just to work out of the one account but i'm gettin mixed up with my challenge money and what i get from my job. i know i wont save nearly as much if i dont separate it. i have an isa, would that be the best place to put my challenge money until it reaches the limit? also, is there a really foolproof spreadsheet that i could use? i am absoloutely useless at them but i think i'm going to need something to keep track of it all.

Hi everyone, i have been listing dvd's on ebay for £2.99 and £4.99 for a box set with free p & p and havent been charged a listing fee for these HTH as I always thought it had to be a starting price of 99p for free listing.

Still 9 items on ebay finishing tomorrow no bids but 6 watchers on one item, i'm getting slightly obsessed with ebay keep checking it on my phone whilst at work lol have a good weekend everyone :)

My post was really early today, and I have received a cheque from an ebay sale on thursday (no paypal fees yay), so can bank that on Monday.

Also done a Dooyoo review this morning. Still not dressed though :rotfl:

I'm busy packaging up ebay items. I'm allowing myself a five minute break after every 5 items packaged. Only another 10 to go.

Then i'm going to have to walk three miles to the Post Office as there's no chance of getting the car out of the drive. Still keeps me fit and wealthy (by the end of the year anyway)!

Thanks for the 99p tip bingO, will be using that one.
