Anyone else feel like they have a head full of ideas and no idea where to start?!
I fully intend to do this challenge and with a baby due in June I have a real incentive to get on with it but I seem to spend all day reading this thread and not doing anything productive!! Although I find this thread so inspriring and get alot of my ideas from it so I guess that's productive in itself?! I just read how much everyone is earning and feel like I'm losing out lol!
Well done to all of you who have done so well...you are all truly inspiring.
I agree the thread is very hard to keep up with but I like the fact that all the info is in one place. xxxxx0 -

Sounds dodgy to me ... has all the hallmarks, but it could be the cynic in me."I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." — Confucius0 -

My mum has also said I can sell an old fur coat she's had at the back of the wardrobe for 20 years! Just feel a bit
about selling fur though.
I'm anti-fur, but in this weather I'd be tempted to wear it ...

Knowing how many kids someone has etc is not relevant to the thread. Nice thoughts but there are over 250 members if everyone wrote their daily goings on the whole sysem would collapse. Posting about how, where etc you think you can achieve your goal, asking for ideas help etc thats great. People having 'personal' chats between themselves is not at all helpful to anyone and just blocks the thread up. PM should be used for that.
Maybe OP could have thoughts on this at it was his idea. But for example how about limiting posts to once a week to give an update on how one has got on? Plus of course any that need advice at any other time.
HTH:)
I personally disagree. If you have managed to read a reasonable amount of the thread, you will see a community being built and also you might note a number of people finding budies and forming small groups via chatting to each other. A lot of the chat from these people will move off to PMs or MSN messenger contact or meet ups in cafes for those close to each other. This is all positive and over time the thread will settle down to it's own rythm ... personally I will miss some of the chat of the people who are off to their little groups as within it there will be plenty of ideas and some useful motivation. I hope they pop in regularly even if just to say hello.
Who knows what will come of some of these alliances once people realise their complementary skills ... new businesses and enterprising schemes may be formed that none of the people involved could have possibly achieved alone. Anyway, good luck with the challenge and I hope to bump into lots of positive achievements and updates from you over the coming year"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember.
