mummyandpaige - turn them into quilted blankets and maybe they will sell as cat / dog bed type blankets ?
that was a fantastic saving on the gifts, i think it will be worth it :)
  • Ok, honesty alert...I don't have time to read right through!! I signed up to do this though and as per usual for moi....I am dragging my heels!.
I thought I would start with selling my junk on ebay....I need to get said junk together, photograph and list...BUT, what do I then do with what I can't sell?, shall I invest the money earn't in 'stock' if so what??! Or should I overpay my almost maxed credit card with my earnings? If i reach the goal of 10,000 then OMG I owe nothing lol xx
The stuff that you really, really can't shift either bundle it up together and sell it as a job lot for a car booter or, if you can, sell it on a car boot. :D
There's very little that won't sell at all. :)

I've spent £74 of my £100, but much of that is bingo signups which will go back into my TCB account (so effectively free because I haven't won anything. :o).
Still minimal earnings, but I've requested cashouts from places and have bids, so it's okay.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

ok, can someone help me please. Got a sack full of odd pillowcases in coordinating colours and patterns yesterday from charity shop for 50p and today I have found in Wilkinsons snow blankets for 75p. Can I turn them into quilted blankets? and are they saleable? Was thinking of using snow blanket as the padded middle. Also picked up a sack load of gifts with 75% off along with christmas lights and LED snowmen. Hope to resell next Xmas but 5 carrier bags and one double buggy slightly overloaded later, the reciept says Total savings £45.17 Total to pay £17.08. Long investment to put inital stake in, but worth it I hope!

It is a long investment but if you want to take an interesting view you might (might ;) ... not guaranteed ... comes with health warning) get some joy if you can work a margin selling them to Australia and NewZealand in summer ... I have witnessed the lights come out and Santas in ski resorts for little mid year Christmas festivals for all those (many expats etc.) who like a little snow with Christmas punch. Probably postage would dint it too much, but there well may be something to be made for someone tracking the quirks of festivities around the World ;).

You would think with all the snow etc. that people would understand delays in delivery but sometimes it needs spelling out in a polite email when people are unhappy with delivery times. Some people really just don't get it until it is explained to them, then they are often happy as ... strange but true ;). Hope it all gets resolved ... the little set backs make the victories all the sweeter :).

This isn't just the snow, the item was sent on 15th December xmas post delayed the item. I spelled it out for them, tried to reason with them ect. Still no money or item, can I report them for theft? They have essentially taken an item without paying for it.

Get turbolister its 100 times faster

note to everyone if you are putting up books, dvds, games and a whole bunch of other stuff that might have an EAN/ISBN etc you usually dont need to take photos as ebay might have them on stock along with a description :).

Post has been a nightmare lately with strikes, Christmas and adverse weather etc. These things do happen and some people buying on ebay take the proverbial but hopefully these things even out over time. It all depends on values involved, sometimes taking the hit and spending your time productively doing new things works out better than wasting it in disputes (which are difficult for a seller to win in the modern ebay world). Hope it all works out.

Can you do the EAN/ISBN look-up within TurboLister? (have to admit my weekend task is to get to grips with it ... my attempts so far have been a bit squiffy to say the least;)).

Edit: Answered my own question ... yes you can do EAN/ISBN look-ups in Turbo Lister :)
