  • dhgate is a company I personally provided info of to some people.

What currency do they display, US dollars?
  • yes - us dollars. Cant remember if they have a conversion button, but I do vaguely remember having xe.com open on another tab and my bank account showing conversions of transactions.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Well i've read all the thread and I'm hooked. Am I in time to join? I won £20 in bingobritain, before the changes, so £15 in profit, have withdrawn it and is now in bank account.
I have also joined Dooyoo, so tomorrow will add all the names of people on this thread. My username is the same everywhere: spidystrider.
Will have to wrack my brain for ideas, but there is lots of info here already, so will hopefully make use of that.
Any money I make will be put towards my mortgage overpayments.
I am feeling excited and very positive about the journey.

24 minute video on YouTube of the secret, take a look, listen, then act on it.Thanks for all comments, keep focused your all doing superb.:T

Thanks for starting such a positive thread ... it is truly enjoyable to encounter so many people being inspired to empowering effort. Moving beyond the Americanism of the video, it gives an interesting introduction to the law of attraction (and a few laughs along the way ;)) but my only problem with it is that it presents a subset of the lessons that are presented in the works of the likes of Napoleon Hill in books like "Think and Grow Rich" and "The Law of Success". The Secret seems like as good a place as any to start along the process and if it inspires people, then more power to it but I would recommend scouting around for as wide a source of inspiration as possible. With that in mind I would recommend listening to Earle Nightingale on Youtube too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgUc7eLXs0s&feature=related

By the way, if there is still space in this wonderful challenge, please count me in.

I saw a program about this a while ago, can't remember what it was though:o but some people seemed to do ok doing it .If you had a large driveway you could have more than one car in it. I think the person on the program lived near an airport so did well doing it

    **Board Guide Note**

Just wanted to congratulate everybody on making such a great start to the New Year and the challenge.

I know everybody is really enthusiastic about encouraging and helping each other out but please avoid adding any information here that could be classed as 'advertising for personal gain' in anyway. That includes adding information such as ebay usernames or Dooyoo usernames.

I have removed some posts from yesterday that include Dooyoo usernames. Rating other people's reviews on Dooyoo is a great way to boost your income from that site but you do need to read the reviews and rate honestly. Dooyoo can (and do) remove miles or suspend and even ban members, if they find that they have been 'speed clicking.' (That is rating lots of reviews in one go without reading them.)

Good luck with the rest of the challenge. I can't believe how long this thread is already and it's only the 2nd Jan!! :)

    Morning all

Joey Grey have you tried music magpie for getting rid of old CD's, don't get a lot with some but it might beworth a try and better tahn a penny, plus if you go to their site through quidco you get and extra 5% cashback.

Made some nappy cakes over the past few days with excess baby stuff, got them listed and have a watcher - was thinking of trying them at the car boot but don't know if people would pay they only range from 4.99- 9.99 but I find people don't want to pay a lot, took a set of crystal glasses once, if I had a £ for everytime someone enquired about them I'd be well on my way to 10k but no one would pay £15-20.

Might try and get out for a mooch in the sales today try and encourage DS1 and DS2 to stay at home with OH.
