Yes, you can. The delivery note will have the last day for returns on it. However, she will only get the current selling price on the day she returns the goods unless you also give her the invoice (which doesn't have the price you paid on it, so she would only know if she took it back).

I just wanted to say thank you for drawing my attention to the DAB radio. :T
I've been looking for one for my hubby that was around the £50 mark and was going to buy this same radio in John Lewis for £57.
It's only £39 at M&S this week so I am very happy! :j
    Thank you again. :D
EDIT - I THINK I have this radio - http://www.marksandspencer.com/Pure-One-Classic-DAB-Radio/dp/B002QM9HL8?ie=UTF8&qid=1260485546&categoryNodeID=&ref=sr_1_6&page=1&node=42966030&sr=1-6&mnSBrand=core&rh=n%3A42966030%2Ck%3Apure%20DAB%20radio but I can't find it on offer for £39, just says 'offer' on it. Anyway, this is the one I have so relavent for the review below.

I have this radio. Got it for £47 somewhere a few months ago. Sound quality is excellent but it does have a few random niggles I thought I'd let you know about. Firstly you can set the alarm volume, but it will still play at the last volume you had it on. Secondly, because it is so energy efficient, the screen is only illuminated when the radio is 'on' (rather than standby) and the screen is quite small so it's not useful for telling the time unless the radio is on. Also, to get a decent signal I have to have the antenna out quite a lot so it's not suitable for putting on a shelf or other tight spot where you haven't got space to fiddle the antenna (but that could just be where I live, I don't even have a digital tv signal available). Last thing, it is advertised as being a portable radio but you have to buy a separate battery pack which when I looked was something ridiculous like £30 on its own. Fortunately none of these little niggles bother me but I thought I'd let you both know in case it helps. £39 is a steal! ... And because it's digital it sets its self immediately, no faffing about setting the time after each power cut. Actually I'm going to set out it's good points to even the score... The controls are a bit odd to start with, like using an iPod for the first time but give it 5 mins and everything is easy to find for ever more. The feel is lovely, it's like soft, sort of spongey plastic, feels really expensive. As said before, the sound quality is excellent; it also has a good range of volume, maybe not great if you have it on in the kitchen and want to hear it clearly all round the house but loud enough to drown out my neighbours arguing (:rotfl:) Even on the FM settings the channels are easy to find and set. There's not glaring LED screen to light the whole bedroom and keep you awake, although as I said you can't see the time (easily solved by buying a £2 clock) I could go on but this is a grabbit site not a review site. As long as you know the minor drawbacks before you buy it I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

Infact I'm seriously considering buying another one for my room at my dads, he says I'm not there often enough so switches all the plugs off in my room which also switches my alarm clock off so I have to set the time and alarm before I go to bed every time. This is super energy effecient and if he still insists on turning my plugs off it will automatically set channels, time, date etc.

HTH - sorry to be a bit off topic.
  • Thanks for the review.
Didn't realise it had an alarm tbh but I doubt it would be used for that anyway.
I've got it so hubby can listen at work.
I know he likes to listen to Planet Rock on the net but I *think* you can only get it on digital so he cannot hear it any other way.
M&S shows it at £59 but when you go through checkout it deducts £20.

    Sorry back on topic... :o

Here, here, Claire21 has posted some blinding finds and is always extremely helpful .
Anyone who spends times and effort writing posts simply for the 'reward' of their thanks count is either rather sad, or has too much time on their hands:cool:

yup Claire21 is the bargain queen and amazingly kind to share it all! I hardly ever post or get a chance to even take up bargains as I don't get online as much as I would like with 2 babies but when I do I know that Claire21 has found another amazing bargain. Thank you!
