    I made a cannoli dip from this recipe the other day, but it didn't work and it went very liquid. So I added some chopped pistachios, a little bit of chopped orange peel, a sprinkling of cinnamon and froze it. I served it with some strawberries and some cinnamon wafers and told OH that it was supposed to be cannoli ice cream. He loved it and he's asked me to make it again :) The bonus was that it didn't need beating as it froze and I think the basic mix would be nice with other things added in.

    Ive never used ricotta before and managed to grab 3 large tubs reduced to 25p each last night! :) Now I just need some recipes for them! lol. Ive frozen them and wondered if anyone had any favourite recipes using it that I can pinch inspiration from pleeeeeeease? :D X
