Well i have used Parcel Monkey for many months now and send around 4 orders a week with them, and apart from the odd problem waiting for City Link labels the service is great imo and i will continue to use them.

I'm not biased in any way for or against PM, as I mainly use RM for small packets at the moment, but like I'm sure many other potential customers I find the behaviour of this company appalling.
A company who comes here without permission from MSE, after being banned previously, just to call a poster a liar, is not one I'd want to use, personally.
Even if Tara was a liar and a competitor in disguise it would still show poor judgement, but when she can actually post an image and prove without any doubt that she is right, it makes PM look like really bad.
From a business point of view I'd call this behaviour commercial suicide.

Thank you - a voice of reason at last!

I did have to chuckle at the notion of me being a PM competitor - sat here in my jim jams, dog at my feet, thinking how I have to get off my butt this weekend and sort more bits to put on ebay....I was made redundant early Jan, and selling odds and sods online has been a life saver. I'm sure that won't be believed by some, but that doesn't matter. :)

Anyhow.....(this is for all readers, not having a moan at you Terra_Firma ;))

The irony is I have used ParcelMonkey for two years now (sometimes I would go a few weeks and not need a courier, then I would need one daily - it's not much I know, but I didn't use anyone else)
Matt has spoken with me on here a long time ago (the posts are there to find) and then tried to sort things out behind the scenes when things have gone very wrong with their service. I had to nag and nag by mail for weeks to get a refund (He also has my personal e-mail address, even my registered home address with PM - if he cares to go back and check) Still sound like a competitor anyone?
(I've just checked my personal e-mails, and I still have Matts personal correspondences dated June 2010 - the ones where I had to beg PM for weeks to get a refund of £31.86 and I still have the mails - I got the refund in the end, but it was a stressful ordeal)

So, much evidence is there for Matt / alias 'Next Day' to realise I am just a seller who regularly used PM to send items I had sold online - It really wasn't a good idea to insinuate I am a 'competitor' because I dared to raise another serious issue about PM, and THEN private message me and ask me to change my post - That's low.

I am sorry to spoil any conspiracy theories that are being bandied about, but I ask you to show some basic respect here please - I came onto this thread to report a very important issue. I have proved this issue to be true, and now I'm prety much battling against some posts where I am called a spammer / competitor / liar etc.

I highlighted a relevant problem to help other readers - I'll definitely think twice next time for sure.

I've said all I want to say on this matter now, and I'll unsubscribe from the thread.
