Why do tube drivers earn twice as much as bus drivers?

I always think it dangerous to admit your occupation. That's why I don't tell people that I'm Chancellor of the Exchequer. To save the embarrassment I just say that I'm a stripper in a gay club.

Whatever tube drivers get paid is too much. A chimpanzee could do their job and wouldn't whine half as much.0

What do you do boomers?

I'll just reply to this one since it's so inaccurate. We get £40,000 and work a 5-out-of-seven rota although we don't necessarily get rest days every week. We get a decent pension and definitely don't get any special treatment when it comes to sickness.
I can't remember who said pay per death but whoever it was, that's a ludicrous suggestion. It's real life, not a film.

Zelie..sorry..do you drive a train or a tube thingy...we dont have a tube system here so I apologise for my ignorance.0

ASLEF are for several industries not just tube drivers. We certainly don't get the things you quoted.

If that's so then it's very strange as Bob Crow doesn't work for ASLEF.

If you read the bit at the top it says that's the ASLEF charter. As in things they'd like. Not things that are based in reality. It's a bit like when that nice Mr Brown tells you the country will run just fine because he's going to take good personal care of it if only you'll vote for him in the next election.
Still wondering where Bob Crow comes in....0 -
Bless.

It seems to state that many of the aims have been achieved.
What is the rate for working a sunday?
As far as the Bob Crowe goes, do ASLEF and RMT members get different tems and conditions for the same job?0
