    Hello,

I'm loving everyones pet names! I have various pets and they're named as follows!

Ollie - border collie, also known as ollie collie, Oliver when in trouble (usually when he's knocking things over with his nose!

Billy - black and white cat, also known as big ole fat bill (he's a big cat)

George - black cat with absurdly long White whiskers..named after a spider who lived in our bathroom, spider so named because my boss's second name was George and he gave me the creeps!

Alex/sally/tinker/cat/nuisance - black longhaired kitten, has had an identity crisis as we thought he was a girl on account of the fact his fur was so long you couldn't see his man bits!

Two rabbits called rosie and tom

Two guinea pigs known as "the pigs"

    A Siamese fighter called spike

5 goldfish known collectively as "dyson" (because they Hoover every scrap of food up)

    Hope that helps!

What a fun thread! I love reading other people's pet's names!

I have 2 boxers boys called Charlie and Harry and a Dogue De Bordeaux called Frank!!

My dogs have such human traits that I had to give them more 'people' names!! :D

You must think just like me! I have a English spriner spaniel and I called him Dave or Baby Dave when he was v.tiny. People either think the name is fantastic, or say 'hmmm thats interesting..." whilst looking at me like I'm mad. I think a human name is much more fun. I'd love another springer - I'd name it Steve :D

My black labrador was called Murphy. We got him from a rescue centre and he already had his name, I liked it so didn't change it.

  • We have two ESS - both liver and white.

Roly Dog is 2 - he also answers to Ro, RD and mummy's boy!

Ruby Doo is a rescue who is nearly 5 - Rooooooby Doooo, Roo, Roober and Rubes!

Hope you are enjoying your wonderful new addition - we love the breed - but if you want a quiet life with no mud definitely don't get a springer!!!!

  • We had a bullmastiff who we named Abb, after my FIL, 'cos he's wrinkly and gets all slobbery when he's been drinking.

I've just got a cavalier king charles spaniel and he's called Paddy. My hamster is called Wispa :)

Took us ages to decide on a name for Paddy though, all the names we liked were "big dog" names.
