We used to have a Skye Terrier called "Selwyn". He was a rescue and the RSPCA kennels had given him that name.

I wanted to call our new Skye "Granville" but got outvoted on that one - we've settled for "Harvey" - usually referred to as RV.

Tia (black lab) named after mums fav tipple! Tia Maria!

Honey (border terrier) named because she was supposed to be honey colored but actually only half of her did the other half stayed black!

We have a springer spaniel, liver and white also and he is called 'Cloughie' (my OH is a Nottingham Forest supporter).

My OH had 2 springer spaniels growing up, also liver and white, they were called 'Sally' and 'Jimmy'.

Myself i've had a cocker spaniel when i was a kid called 'Ben', plus a beagle that lives with my parents called 'Sophie'.

A work friend names her dogs after the weather (she has 7 as they're show dogs), some of the names that i know of are: Breeze, Ice, Cloud, Storm
