My first visit here and I have already learned a lot. I had already learned of deals through Martins site, but thanks to you I have just joined all the clubs and looking forward to receiving coupons points and helpful advise (healthy living) good offers (wine and food club) mmmmm I wonder if one cancels out the others. Thanks again for all the good advice.0

just wondered if any one could help, its regarding the clubcard plus account, I have sent off my application and now they are asking for me to send them a chq for at least £1 but they don't say who to make it payable to, does anyone have any ideas, I was going to write it to Tesco personal finance, but when I send a cheque to my savings account I have to put it in my own name??0

I'm thinking of buying a new laptop from tesco to give the clubcard points a boost. I'm only after something quite low end for £400-£450. Or does anyone think it would be more economically sound to buy one elsewhere?0

I've been with Powergen for over a year now and about 6 months ago switched to their Energy Online Tariff which is an even better deal. Had no problems. They email me once a quarter and you can then view your bill on line, just like the paper version the postie brings, but helping to save the trees too. You don't need to print the bill (you can if you want to) as you can view old bills on line too.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift - the present.0

Hi, I have just received my green coloured clubcard plus (the one you get 2pts per £1 spent in store). I followed Martins advice and set up the minimum £1 per month standing order to start filling up the clubcard plus card since his article said you can fill it up with money at the tesco customer service desk in store.
Now my question. At the tesco customer service desk can i use my tesco credit card to transfer money to my new green clubcard plus card. If I can, will I then benefit from the 1 point per £1 spending on my Tesco credit card and then the 2pts per £1 spent on my green clubcard plus card? This would be then 3pts per £1 spent.....too good to be true:rolleyes: Or do I need to fill the green clubcard plus with cash or a cheque and not my tesco credit card?
Hope you can understand my ramblings!!!..................thanks“Having, first, gained all you can, and, secondly saved all you can, then give all you can"....John Wesley

I am afraid that you can't transfer money to clubcard plus from credit card and even if you did there would be no points for doing so as it would be treated as a cash advance ( which would incurr immediate interest) or cashback (which gets no points).
Please remember that if you top up CC+ with cash on the way in then you can use it straight away but if you pay in a cheque then it can take ages.
Paul.
PS..Clubcard plus is like a revolving credit card only for use with tesco0
