Hiya, I hope this is the right place to post this.

If you buy your shopping instore and get your Clubcard swiped at the till, but also pay for it by the Clubcard credit card, can anyone confirm that you get the points on your Clubcard for your shopping, AND the points on your Clubcard credit card for buying on the credit card in Tesco too?

    Many thanks!

I just got a Clubcard Credit Card. Upon checking my points balance online for the CC I don't seem to have full points.

I think when I applied for it I must have entered my clubcard number, so that the two are combined.

I may pick up a new clubcard and keep them separate.

I've just had a card with tesco too and was also wondering this. Though the other day in Tesco I forgot my clubcard so just handed over my cc (also works as a clubcard) and my points balance was totally different. It also said under my balance, includes TPF bonus points, so I think I should get 2 different mailings.
Next time your in Mr T's just hand over credit card and see if your balance is the same.

I just tried to use my Clubcard Plus card to pay for my Tesco DVD rental subscription but it ended up getting rejected and they froze my account. When I called Tesco DVD I was told that it was not a valid payment method. Can this be true?

As I understood it Clubcard Plus can be used as payment for all Tesco services. The man said that because the DVD rental service is provided by Lovefilm it does not count as a payment to Tesco (even though it is branded as Tesco).

I would be interested whether anyone else has had a similar experience. Thanks.

If you swipe your clubcard 1st you will get the point per £ on the clubcard...giving your C/C card 2nd will only see it accumalate the 1 point per spend of each £4.00

Ive donethe same - applied for a cc and given my clubcard number. Surely if you get a new clubcard they will just link it again when they swap the points from one to the new one?

Im not sure if this will apply to all Tesco petrol stations, but the one near me is changing to Esso. The Tesco garage is remaining as Tesco but the petrol will be by Esso. Perhaps just for this particular location. Anyway, clubcard points are no longer availiable near me due to this. Fuel was the best way to accumulate points but it seems like they will lose a lot of customers due to this no longer been the case anymore. As I say, perhaps location specific, but watch out guys!
