Does anyone know how many points you earn for plastic, tin or glass as I put in 120 mixed items and earnt 34 points and another day put in 11 glass items and earnt 8 points......

you get 1 clubcard for every 4 items, doesnt matter what you put in. If it is not recognised, that doesnt go towards your total. They go through as green points and sometime dont add until the end of the month.

No idea how you got 8 points for 11 items, unless you continued on from the last person who didnt use a card?

Does the recycling machine tell you how many points you have earnt as when i have done i press finish it says how many items i have put in with a big green tick at bottom of screen..should it say that???

Just checked my clubcard account online, Tesco have deducted 10,000 points from my account!!! CAN THEY DO THIS??? It is so devious, I have been saving points like mad.....

yes you swipe your card - it will tell you its got your card details before sticking your stuff in - I have had to swipe a few times before I get this so make sure it says its registered.

then stick you stuff in one at a time - it does all the sorting (quite a clever thing) also knows and wont accept plastic milton bottles or bleach!

at the end press the finish button bottom right hand corner or screen and it will say how many points

then go home and log on here to find more ways to boost your points he he he

thanks mine doesnt say how many points i have got just how many items i put in when i press the finish button..wonder if it not working properly then as i should have loads green points and i only got 3 showing

hican anyone suggest what to do, i went on a big shop to tesco and handed over all my vouchers that included a parenting club one for 500 points if you spend £15 in baby, well when i returned last night it seems this along with i dont know how many more aint been put on! i have emailed tesco but as the shop has my vouchers i cant very well get them to say what exactly hasnt gone through.totally gutted as i normally shop online due to disability but obviously had to go instore to use these so saved up the whole lot in an envelope but it was late and i had 4 kids in tow and the bloke on the cashout was having a strop allready when he saw my shopping!x

Suspect you've been doing something odd to collect that many points :eek: in a quarter? Or have you genuinely spent £10,000 in Tesco since Xmas or even being generous £9k with bonus points? I would think this many points has alerted them to investigate your card and yes they can do this, if you look at the small print, I think it says something like the points all belong to Tesco anyway and can be granted and removed at any time or something similar that covers their backs nicely...

Having said all that, what tips do you have to share on how you got so many points, please?

Yes technically Tesco can take your points but as someone on the Paidtoshop website has challenged them by court action not once but twice and won both times, I would advise that you stand your ground with them. Have a look on that website for further info.

10,000 points is a hell of a lot to lose from your account so fight them for them.:D xx
