I took advantage of the double airmiles offer in November, but it took virtually all of the 28 days suggested, before I received them (though I did get the whole lot at once). You also receive notification from Airmiles via snail mail, not via email, so you have to take the Christmas/New Year post in account.

I didn't received any notification by post. Did you have an account open before? I did.

Hi, my first post on this forum so apologies if I'm asking questions already asked that I've not found on my brief scan through here.

I get my airmiles through my Lloyds TSB DUO cards and have used them towards holidays booked through Lloyds. Though in all honesty never paid a great deal of attention as to how many I had.

My BF and I have got Tesco vouchers though each in seperate names. Does anyone know if I can either transfer his Tesco vouchers into my name? Or if we change both lots to airmiles can we put them all on my airmiles account?

Also is there a maximum amount of airmiles I can use on a holiday that I book thro my bank account?

    Many thanks for any replys.
  • This year I went to Australia with my Airmiles (for free), am going again next year but when I could get a flight from Manchester, instead of London for £580 with Qatar it wasn't worth using my Airmiles as they have never had flights to anywhere in Australia from Manchester....

I have about 5000 Airmiles remaining, but haven't converted any Tesco vouchers into Airmiles for sometime, despite being on the 80 miles, purely because I have £150 of Tesco vouchers waiting for Tesco to find an alternative to MFI so I can get some 'home' things for the house!

I rung up Airmiles yesterday to book an Airport lounge for March when we go to Oz again and I was told that 100 miles is the equivelent of £6, which is pretty rubbish if you are using your Airmiles for anything OTHER than flights.....

    Hope that helps....

You can if you havnt allready ask Tescos to merge your clubcard accounts then you can use both of yours vouchers in one purchase on the clubcard website.

Same thing goes for the Airmiles scheme you can register for a household account and this means both yours and your BF`s miles can be put in the same pot and used on flight. (this requires you both to have an online account though)

And no theres no limit on ammount of miles you can use if you have 10000miles thats 1 completly free trip to OZ. They do do some part miles part cash should you not have enough to where you want to travel.

You do not need to merge you Clubcard accounts to do this. I regularly use my husbands and my in-laws vouchers to build up our household Airmiles account. Never had a problem. We all have the same surname, but inlaws live at 52 and we live at 3 on the same street.

If you do merge your accounts you will receive far fewer extra points coupons.
