my o/h recieved something recorded today but was never asked to sign for it like he shouldve been0 -
A bit off topic but...... The posty who delivers to my work INSISTS on calling me 'Hazel', despite the fact that I sign for stuff pretty much every day and sign it 'Heather', cos thats my name lol.
He's known me for about 4 years now as he used to be the posty at my old job too, but he's such a nice old man that I can't bring myself to verbally correct him. Today, while I was signing for a recorded letter, one of the girls came in just after him & said 'Morning Heather', he still said 'Bye Hazel' as he left lol
Slightly more on topic, if I'm late or the posts early then the recorded letters just get put through the letterbox with the rest of the stuff without any of us signing for it.
EDIT: Signed for a parcel again today (9th), but I was still Hazel! :rotfl:.•¨¨*:•..•

Are you sure? Items with a lil red sticker on them seem to have a nasty habit of vanishing into thin air :rotfl:My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Thats a strange way of looking at things! I would never allow pickup of anything - no way I'm letting some random person I know nothing about come to my house. Maybe you should look at it from the sellers perspective.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

Really I wouldn't know now except that this was probably around 2002/2003 and she was about to go as the star attraction on a cruise ship. Although of course it could have been a Portsmouth /Calais ferry for all I know.
She bought tiny little silver mini skirts in leather and bustier type tops in fake leather (that were probably horribly sweaty if she intended to jig about while she sang).
Could have been anyone, but she was really upset I didn't know who she was!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
