At the end of the day, it's just a case of weighing up whether you'd like to spend an extra few hundred pounds, just to shave a second or two off a page load. I certainly know which I'd choose.I bought a phone, upgraded it to the latest available version of 1.5 which is what it runs, and it was still a lot slower browsing the internet than my iPhone 3GS.
*double checks*
Yeah, i didn't use the word lag, or blame anything else, I just stated the that the browsing was slower than my iPhone...

IMHO iPhone, had a 3G for 17 Months, contract up for renewal tomorrow, going to buy a 3GS only a 16Gb one as I don't need the larger flash drive.
Just sold my old 3G for £275 :-D
I've had quite a few smartphones Treo's, XDA's etc. & the iPhone is at the moment the best.
It's resale value is worth the inital outlay.0 -
The deal I've just accepted from Orange with the HTC Hero was 18 months, free phone, 400 mins plus unlimited texts and internet.
Sounded too good to pass up - and in 18 monts I will have enough money saved either to put a large share towards a new Macbook or buy the next version of the iPhone :beer:0 -
Check the prices at tesco they are selling the iphone on the The 3GS 16gb is £320 upfront then £20 a month on a 12 month contract plus clubcard points. Im leaning towards this after 12 months i can leave, insted of the usual 18-24 contracts0
