yeah it says despatched and del 9th Dec, but on the email ive received this evening, it says to allow 6 working days from 8th Dec, they have given me a tracking number which I can click on - this takes me to Hermes website, (courier) but when I enter it and my postcode it says nothing pending (however not too worried about that as Thorntons despatch email says it may not show for 72 hours anyway).

So who knows lol - will I or wont I.

Just the hamper, standard delivery, paid through paypal. 6 working days from today will take me to weds next week - time will tell lol

I have had absolutely NO email communication from Thorntons since my order confirmation, but if I go into the order online, it now tells me it has been despatched! Very odd.

Kayte - has yours updated to this now too?

ETA - My OHs order, which he DID receive a cancellation for, has also updated to say despatched.

I wish the Festive Fizz would turn up from M&S, I'm going to need it at this rate!

Should get my £20 box and £50 box today, tracking says they are at the depot! Its 5mins from my house but I bet they dont arrive till late afternoon

after seeing all the horror stories on this thread yesterday I can tell you I paniced. I placed my first order with Thorntons yesterday after reading a new thread re Thortons and a £50 Festive Treats Collection offer. I ordered the Freesia Delight Bouquet and Continental offer at half price. Plus a few more 3 4 2 bits. I paid £6.95 delivery. Anyway I have followed al your posts and decided in my head I wasnt going to recieve anything. (my bill was £68) So this morning I rung Thortons up. The poor lady told em they had been busy. But she told me my order was processed and would be with me tomorrow which is my deliery day. I do hope she has given me the correct info. I will follow this all day today, and let you know if I recieve mine in the morn. God help them if it doesnt come because the flowers are for the cemerty. Heads will roll, I am only an hour from their head office I shall take a trip lol.

Mine just arrived (£50 hamper). Huge box of fudge treats, and three boxes of continental chocs, plus the other bits I had ordered.
Bloke at OH's work who is putting on a concert on Fri night for the local kids hospice is going to be well chuffed with his new raffle prizes!
