Toots - Just my thoughts, but phrased much better than I could have done it. You patiently listen to our moans, so why shouldn't we return the favour!0 -
OK, maybe those of us who don't have a party to go to (or do, but don't want to!) could arrange a virtual date for a virtual christmas party. We all dress up as though we were going out for the night - full make up etc. etc. (or in Dusty's case, because she doesn't like dressing up, just come as you are). And we spend an hour or to just partying on line.
How's about next Friday night or next Saturday night?
I could be on for thatthis way I don't have to worry what I dress in and can even have my jeans on, did I tell you I love my jeans, hate buying them but love wearing them.

We are back and Miss A is in bed shattered! Had a brilliant time, I am sure Miss A will post herself at some point in the next day or so.
Right better skidaddle to bed as there is the school run in the morning.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
I'm in again this week and will hopefully carrry on making a difference, even if it's on a small scale. Thanks to pigpen, toots and soappie for keeping this going. I'd have given up without you by now.
Just a quick update on my list from today:
get DS2 washed and dressed - done
make Christmas cake - done and also made pineapple-upside-down cake (planned this, but had forgotten to add it); the Christmas cake smells lovely and it looks like the Nigella recipe worked a treat
find Christmas cards (or buy more) and start writing - will do this tomorrow
design Y7 assessment for tomorrow  - getting on to that next
more washing - WM x1 done
put some clean washing away - not yet
visit friend - went to park and decluttered old bread to ducks on the way to friends; then went to other friend's to borrow 2nd cake tin
wake/feed and bully DS1 to look after DS2 while I nip to shops - didn't work, because he already had plans, so no Christmas shopping
find something for tea - bangers and mash with veg, also cooked cabbage/mince/potato stew/soup and got chili in SC
put washed baking trays etc away in kitchen
Sunday evening tasks (uniform, lunch etc) - work in progress
have a bath/shower - wash hair in morning
Not as successful as I'd hoped, but I'd have struggled to fit in more.
Back to work now, and bed soon.
Good night, all.
