Another 40 items uploaded to ebay.. they ALL need revising tomorrow but they are up now.. the pics are right.. aside from the 3 I need to do pics for.. everything else is wrong though.. Anyone interested in snooping.. search 'revise' .. mine are the ones with different pics but all start with the word 'revise' in caps.. there is some tat on there.. but it is ebay.. and it was free..

I am asking OH VERY nicely to paint the ceiling on the back landing tomorrow.. then i can make a start on the walls.. it WILL be done by christmas.. mainly because I want to get the kitchen doen too!

I forgot to wash the school uniforms.. so they are all going in the dryer in a sec..

It was 8pm XH brought the children home and we had a 'pleasant' discussion around when he was having them over christmas.. I was terribly polite and said there was no way on Gods green earth he was having them christmas day or Boxing day as we have a family gathering but he can have them christmas eve from the 23rd and can have them from the 27th for a few days.. new year is his weekend anyway but he can have them an extra day if he wishes. I think that is MORE than reasonable.. I also said if he wants he is most welcome to come spend some time with them on christmas day and to come on boxing day with the rest of my family.. he declined.. apparently if I was seeing anybody other than OH he would but he won't because it is him.. well, his loss.. if he would rather I brought different people in and out of the childrens lives like he has and I was a slapper then I don't think I want him here after all.. The children think OH is lovely and he likes them too, that, IMO counts for more than XH's opinion. We like OH being part of our lives so XH will have to lump it!

Right.. I have a box of pressies to wrap and Merlin to watch.. and some uniforms to dry quickly!!!!!

Hi everyone. Count me in again for this week please, I'm really getting into this. Thanks rosepink1984 and toottifrootti for your help with posting. Thanks toottifrootti also for your advice regarding my 23yo and the state of his bedroom. I showed him the list of jobs that needed doing and he sort of grunted but not to worry because it may have had some impact. Today he gave me 3 large washing baskets of dirty washing (!!!!!) which means we can almost see the floor now, still a bit of work to do with him I think! Hi toochoosey, I know just what you mean. I battled the supermarket this morning whilst he polished his motorbike. He didn't notice all the shopping I did do, just the fact I forgot the bananas. Men!!!!

Monday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
Level One
Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors
Find and wipe the worksurfaces
Level Two
Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards!
Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!
Clear and wipe a shelf or window sill
Level Three
Wipe the table and replace the cloth if necessary.
Sort through and clean out one cupboard
Clean the oven and hob..

my extras for the week

• wrapping, yup i still haven't started
• write cards
• get a decent picture of kids for sending to family down south
• clean covers on kiddie sofa
• finish making two sock monkeys
• start making sweetie hampers
• Another two bags of clutter to charity shops
• start prepping hallway for paint
• get quote for plaster skim on room
• get quote for wood flooring
• shred and clear paperwork file

TOOCHOOSEY - I think we may be married to the same man. Mines seems to constantly parrot 'this place is a tip, there is too much stuff, this place is a tip, I can't live like this yet god forbid he may actually get off his !!! and do anythng about it. Rant over for now.

I should be able to make the 17th Quillion but will see you Tuesday to arrange things anyway,my bus wont get there till 9.30am though.....are we meeting at the front of the shop?

thanks Dusty i think its probably just the aftermath of yesterday - I dont really do parties either and I havent a thing to wear:rotfl: no really i havent!!!
kazw thats really sweet of you honey but ther is no need - I think its just the festivities thing I miss with not being at work IYKWIM - and the shops being full of party wear that I cant afford, couldnt justify buying anyway, and hearing everyone talking of going out.
froddy that a great idea to talk to the head and relinquish some responsibilities - you need to relax more and not have to think of other pressures (((hugs))) glad you have gigs lined up too.
thifty hope all the paperwork gets sorted out and you get moving on Friday - sounds like you wont have a lot to do for starters at the new house
toochoosey awhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh massive (((hugs))) petal - dont mind him - he's a man and he loves you the way you are - messy or otherwise - I am sure you will make a difference in that room when you get presents sorted and dished out - if he's that bothered then ask him to do something to help.
pigpen good for you - if he could be trusted to bring them back on time you could let him have them for an hour or so on Christmas day but as he cant be trusted its like you said - HIS LOSS

just ignore me people I am just having a carpy evening - being pathetically sorry for myself -I think its partly because this is the first christmas I have been so restricted and its beginning to get to me - feel like a beached whale, no nice clothes , cant wear nice shoes, cant drink alcohol, have to watch what i eat, not allowed to eat alone, not allowed chocolate- not meant to go out on my own - no money - spent the last 5 hours arguing with turbolister/ ebay and cant get it to upload photos so havent managed to list anything and the possible MR Toots has swine flu so I may not see him before Christmas!
I think I am over tired too - please please just ignore me and dont mention it - I will be fine tomorrow!
