I lapsed a bit last week and by yesterday I was really starting to feel quite low and down. So I'm aiming to get things spic and span again this week, for that feel-good buzz. I won't let myself put the decorations up til I've got the house decluttered - and we have a family with a crawling baby visiting next weekend so I absolutely have to have things clean and tidy by then!

I am envious of you all going to parties and nights out - I havent got any to go to and proabably couldnt go anyway but it would be nice to dress up for one:rotfl:

OK, maybe those of us who don't have a party to go to (or do, but don't want to!) could arrange a virtual date for a virtual christmas party. We all dress up as though we were going out for the night - full make up etc. etc. (or in Dusty's case, because she doesn't like dressing up, just come as you are). And we spend an hour or to just partying on line.

How's about next Friday night or next Saturday night?

  • Toots - I'm not going to any Christmas parties either but I must admit I hate them and don't like getting dressed up so I'm not sad. Sorry you are missing out, do they do something at MacMillan House?

I went to the Christmas night out on Friday for the first time in a good few years as I'm in a new post and thought I'd better show face. My feet are still sore! Cost a fortune too  I did enjoy dressing up though. Magic knickers are the best!! :AI'm sure MacMillan will do something.

Just realised the time... I've been pootling around on the internet not achieving anything, so I might as well make hot water bottles and go to bed. I'll plan on finishing the Christmas cards and wrapping by the end of this week, so I can post any parcels that need doing next Saturday!

Night all... hope you have a great week.
