    xmas-smiley-010.gifMorning ladies,
'The First Noel, the Angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!
They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!'

That is so sweet!
    Toots - big hugs.gifhoney
LadyL - kiss.gif I happen to love you girl and if I want to support you I damn well will, so shove over on the couch and let me sit down with these two family sized tubs of Ben and Jerrys (I don't share!!) and we can watch a weepy movie and get it all out of our systems!!
Rose - hugs.gif as always - nice to see you posting and I hope the broaches are going well.

Off to find my list you lovely ladies!!

    Hi all....
This is really just a quick note to let you know that I'm still here! Have been completely overwhelmed this past week....I've even upset my dad, who has been trying to call me for the past couple of days. He does, however, call during the witching hour (despite being asked not to) and he doesn't realise I can't always come to the phone (esp. when I'm in the middle of bathing the children.....).

Anyway, I'm not going to let it bother me - I'll catch him if he calls tonight....

Flying wise, I seem to be taking one step forward and several steps back. I spent a long time sorting the bathroom yesterday (it was v. manky), but I find if I do that the rest of the place goes to rack and ruin. Seems like there's only one pair of hands doing the work....DD helps where she can, but she's only 5, so can't be expected to do too much - and besides, she plays with DS and keeps him happy. Now that OH is self-employed and working from home there seems to be a lot more mess....

Sorry for the moan, I'll pick myself up in a minute and carry on. I'll crack on with the lists and update later....

Hope everyone is OK? Big hugs for everyone who needs or wants one.
Take care, and have a good day

    Morning

Have been up an hour and managed to sink a mug of tea and make lunches. DH has gone off to work so I have to get DD up in a bit. DS came in from his dads about 615 this morning and has gone straight back to bed :rotfl:, typical teenager!

You know the real sad thing today, I put the lights on the tree before the SWs decorated it, one set is static and the other can be multi sequence or static. In the past I always insisted they had to be static as they would drive me mad when we were watching TV but I must have knocked the setting as when I switched them on tonight they were flashing and I thought they looked so pretty and not at all annoying :o and I felt terrible because I wouldn't let DH have them flashing.
I think its his way of saying he's still around, let them flash and think not of the fact that you wouldnt let him have them on but that he has them on now

Right I need to find a list as I have stuff to do today, although I am NOT going to overdo it. Downstairs still looks ok even though I havent done much this week so might just need a quick hoover and flick of a duster.

    off to find my list

I'm sore and aching after yesterdays marathon session at work, did 8 hrs altogether  went to chip shop for tea as had no energy left to cook lol Work this morning for a couple of hours then pick DD1 up from work then straight to the metro station to go xmas shopping (DD1 not me) in Newcastle, goodness knows what time we'll get back from there, and double goodness knows when I'll have time to fit in the list, hardly done anything this week, though I have delegated the dailies to teenie so the house looks ok on the surface. Need to clean car inside and out too, it's embarassing parking it up now, it looks like of a biffa bin inside :o
