Yep, it'll be a 3 month wait for any car ordered as new.....I lose a lot financially, they get me from all angles, tax and losing essential user and mileage rate goes significantly down plus a deduction from pay dependent which model. A 3 year tie in and tons of conditions re business and personal mileage......its not selling itself to me to be honest.

Hubby of the opinion that I go for a car from a garage with some sort of warranty....that'll cost more than my budget.....arghhhh.

    Pah and meh!
There was something on the radio yesterday about how little value there is in car warranties. Can't remember what it was, but it was on R4, so you might be able to find it on listen again. It was probably something dull like you & yours!

Now that OH is self-employed and working from home there seems to be a lot more mess....
Since I've been working from home more there seems to be a lot more mess... as I'm the only one here, I can only assume that it's one of those mischevious elves!

Good news for soappie - the sun is shining here!!!

Overslept :o so was nearly late for my first call of the day. I've managed breakfast while listening in, but I'm in my PJs, grubby and tired ... I need to get this morning problem sorted.

I just don't like it day in, day out. I'm solar powered. It seems everytime I've got home from work just recently, I've got wet waiting for the bus then it's been so dark I've had to have the lights on at 2.30pm each afternoon. I do the dysoning and then find, when we do get a sliver of light, that I've missed loads of dog hairs in the corners because I just can't see them!

Also, I'm a closet weather geek.... I blame it on my time working for the Met Office....
Sorry I didnt mean it to sound quite the way it did, it was more of a 'soappie how come you always get caught in the rain :o'

I cannot keep up with this thread. I h ave both the little pixies home today, both are slightly under the weather and for some reason I am exhausted today.

I am having a mini panic. I have not even started to wrap our christmas pressies yet. i'm so far behind. Cards i have written 3, only 47 to go!!!!!! oh and not getting much flying done. I have sorted 3 bags for charity shop and stitched a sock monkey though.
