I should be in Valli, but I am not in the mood
Every year all the girlies in the family go to the Panto in Glasgow.
Mum told me when it was, I booked my train ticket up yesterday to go and see the kids and panto and meet up with a FB friend.
Turns out I was never going in the first place, except my Mum never thought to tell me this. I feel like she is trying to cut me out the kids lives, she sure as Hell isnt talking to me:rolleyes:
She couldnt even bring herself to meet Daz and say goodbye to me properly before I moved...:(I have been trying to keep a lid on it since I moved down here, but last night just really upset me.
She didnt even tell me yesterday I didnt have a ticket to go.
She said she has cried rivers over me going, totally not thinking of the effect being apart from my kids is having on me....selfish ignorant *****

Great advice that I think we should ALL take on board. Thanks Dusty :TPost [STRIKE]ancient[/STRIKE] vintage tea towel to buyer
You know you really should tell us what makes tea towels 'vintage' and give us some pointers as to how valuable they areI'm sure LOTS of us have them lurking somwhere...
The sun is shining... revealing exactly how grim a state the house is in . So as I've been working late recently, I think I'm going to have to give it a quick S&S in daylight today. After I clean my teeth...
... oh... and for the second day in a row I opened the door to the SAME delivery driver, still in my PJsso in future, when I'm working from home I need to get dressed.
... I also need to work out how I'm going to wash my hair, seeing as the strapping doesn't come off my ankle till tomorrow evening, and I'm not going into the office with it grubby!0 -

Its not even about the ticket really, its the misinformation or lack of info.
Before I left, my brother was coming back form Sudan for a few days, she sat in front of me, asking the kids where they would to go with him for dinner....never asked me....he has been out there for 8 months....but apparently I am not allowed to go out with them.....I know he is home soon, its not the first time she has done it either:mad::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
my Gran has a whole cupboard of them .....she wont use them because they are linen and new and therefore not absorbant.....they wont be till she uses them and they are washed:rotfl:
Can you offer to rehome them for her
hugs re your TM... I guess it's the time of year for them:rolleyes:... would cally's suggestion work?0
