  • Bahhhhh I need to vent.

I've been doing really well for not feeling weepy, getting my essays done and everything. And then this morning I opened my emails to find....

An email from Dad. It was a reply to one I sent him a while ago about getting a headstone for a family grave we've just tracked down for his grandfather. So it looked like this:

    From: Dad
    Subj: RE: Gravestone

I literally nearly fainted, then started sobbing before I even opened it.

My mother, who is usually very sensible, has apparently been sorting through Dad's old emails and checking everything had been replied to, and wanted to know what we'd decided about the headstone. WHY COULDN'T SHE EMAIL ME FROM HER OWN BLUMMIN (not the word I want to use) ACCOUNT???????????? I'm so angry and upset by it, even though I know she didn't mean to upset me. Emails from beyond the grave are not something I can cope with.

    Sorry, venting over.

My flat is spotless and gleaming, this only happens when essay deadlines are approaching. BUT (before Toots nags :p) I have planned one, and am halfway through the other. Plenty of time to finish them. Will sort out which stars I'm owed later. Injection time soon - eughhhh.

    Love to everyone

Carol - sweetie hugs. It is always the unexpected that will get you. I wept and wept over some calculations my Dad had done on an envelope whilst sorting out papers. I still have Dad's mobile number on my phone. Not the same as you I know It will get easier hun, I promise it will be kind to yourself xx

Jinky I'm sorry you are getting a dose of TM today. How was your relationship with her before Daz? Is it just backlash or has it always been difficult? Hugs sweetie.

Time for the garden. Will hoover the stairs on my way up to change into warmer mudder clothes.

See you all in a bit for a cuppa.

If you can get out side into the sunshine for any reason in the next 2 hours then please do - it's good for your Vit D levels and your soul.

Carol - hugs. I'm sure she would be horrified if she realised what she had done. Although it is many years since I lost my parents - both pre home computers - I can sort of imagine the shock you must have had.
