It's FREEZING here... I might have to decamp to the sitting room for a bit. On the plus side, my 2pm meeting has been cancelled (so I didn't need to eat rubbish for lunch ). I might give the kitchen a bit of a S&S so it's not quite so unpleasant...
  • back from work - one of the MSA's had a go at me!:mad::mad:

i was doing the job when she was still in primary school!

She had a go at me for shouting at her - as I have very little voice today it would seem that the only person doing the shouting was her!

I shouldn't let it get to me!

Still I got home to find £900 in cheques on the doormat - something to do with who hubby works for:T:T:T - it's 3 times more than we thought we'd be getting!

Now how much can i spend before he gets home tomorrow?
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • Thanks Greenbee - I am (or was before my accident 3 years ago) an aromatherapist (also reflexologist and beauty therapist), not many oils can be used during any of the trimesters in pregnancy, rose if my memory serves me right is good, will look it up in my books when I get home, strange how your memory can forget something that took you 2 full years to learn! Just wanted to know if something like Palmers butter cream thing or whatever worked for anybody on the look of stretch marks. Stretch marks are there forever really as the basal layer of the skin has been damaged through the body suddenly gaining loads of weight. She likes swimming, but will have to get her a new costume as her bikinis will show for too much bo£b I think!!! She's drinking loads of water as she is thirsty all the time, so that may help too

Apparently teenagers are more prone to stretchmarks (all that smooth skin... wrinkles have their advantages, clearly!).
Well all I can say in that case is THANK GOD I was in my 30's or else I would just be one huge stretchmark :rotfl:

Here is what I planted up this morning. I know its not very exciting but I am not very greenfingered so I am quite pleased. In previous years the Santa stick think has just been shoved straight into the grass and looked, well, not that great!

Ha ha you will all be sick of my photos soon now that I have learned (finally) how to do them

  • JillD - was nearly crying before we had even walked in the hospital abut DD2 said she'd smack me if I cried, so my bottom lip just wobbled! The picture is really clear to say she is less than 12 weeks, 20 week scan will show more. She got quite emotional as well, couldn't get over that we could see the baby and the heartbeat. Dropped her at her friends on the way back so she could show her the scan picture
