L-L That is so unreasonable. They do know how stressful waiting for results is and should at least have phoned you to say there was a hold up. Fancy making you wait all day like that, and now the rest of the week.

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: apparently there is a back log on the scan reports & it could be Friday before my result comes in.....

LL, I don't think the delay or the absence of a call to explain it, is acceptable, when you've mopped your tears and taken a deep breath, is there anyone you can ring to speed up the result? Every sympathy and love and hugs xx

LL - sorry to hear about your delay in getting the results, so very frustrating, hugs for you

PenPen - hope you have sorted out what has happened to the chickens, its very sad and upsetting to lose them like that, hugs for you

DH is upstairs lying down reading, he thinks he's back at work tomorrow but we'll see.
DD is back at school today, her earache has turned out to be a blocked tube that runs down the side of her neck [possibly gunked up after SF] and is on anti-biotics that probably won't work [Docs opinion] but we're giving them a go, have to keep it warm and dose up with childrens Paracetamol, medicine tastes yucky but she's so very good at taking it, so off to school everyday at lunchtime to dose her up.
I hearby promise to fly tomorrow - nede to get upstairs done as its the pits

    Helen x

PS Carlsberg - lovely news about DD

nangran basic baby oil is good - its just keeping the skin moisturised and supple to help it stretch thats important
    toots xx
Noooo!!!! It's a mineral oil (I know you scots want your oil money :p, but please don't put it on skin, it's nasty stuff... try something nice and natural :D)

Huge hugs for L-L... its completely unreasonable. Mind you... I once rang to chase after a brain scan to be told that the consultant was on holiday  but his secretary told me that it looked OK to her !!!!!!??? Since when was she qualified to telll me that... they might as well have sent the pictures straight to me. Luckily she was right, and they found my brain, it was where it should be and working how it should be, but still

Soappie - I'm with you on the weather. Its grey, overcast and COLD!!! I've turned the heating on... the woodstove is on low (hopefully still alight!) but with the living room window open for the moment as there are still a few fumes.

DW has been loaded and set off. Rest of washing up is in the sink... surfaces have been mostly S&S'd, hob and oven cleaned. And I'm back on the phone, tied to my desk and there's a draught...
