don't know about you but I'm fairly sure I was taught that at primary school, at the very latest it would have been secondary school...

Oh and it should be you're or you are.
Do you notice anything missing at the start of your sentence, like a capital letter for instance? Do yourself a favour and stop being one of these idiots that criticise other people for how they write when their own writing is far from perfect.

If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Blacksheep, Your funny!! I'm sorry i didn't go to Cambridge or Oxford

I would have applied to Oxbridge myself had I known that a basic level of literacy would have secured me a place. D'oh!
  • I don't understand why some people are being so obnoxious over this problem. Regardless of whether the shop was for charity purposes, or whether people use capital letters at the beginning of sentences, the OP went into a shop, made a purchase, including delivery, and got nothing.

It's not even worth speculating why the sofa was chucked, maybe it got damaged in transit.

The way I see it the OP should either choose another sofa from the shop assuming they have any suitable, or get his money back. The OP may choose, considering it is a charity, to perhaps waiver the delivery cost, but the shop should be understanding if the OP doesn't wish to. Afterall, the OP has already stated that they haven't got load of spare money to waste.

That's all well and good but if you read his first post again you'll see that they've offered him a full refund. However, that's not good enough for the OP, he wants to try and wangle as much compensation out of them as he can.

    Errata,

I have been put to a lot of trouble! I waited in for 5 hours for the sofa to be delivered, i was lied too, 3 TIMES i have a floor to sit on....i have to leave work early to go to the shop tomorrow. I have to hire another van to go and pick up another sofa when i find one, If this is not trouble then please tell me what is?
    Who said they were lying?
You didn't hire the first van, they did, so what do you mean by "Hire another van"?
It was a day when you expected a delivery and because of some mistake or misunderstanding, the charity shop is giving you a full refund.
You are no worse off than you would have been if the charity shop didn't have any sofas to sell in the first place.
Even if you have been put to a lot of trouble (if thats your idea of trouble then goodness!!) what do you want them to do?
    Just go get another sofa.

    Have you heard of Freecycle?
You could have advertised your sofas on there and not had them go to the tip.
