Seems this is the " kids leaving home club" can I join?
Furnished but only basic, oh I feel so sorry for her, wnat to go out and buy her things but trying not to, have bought a few but thats all.
Sorry for rambling, can't sleep lol
Course you can join in, the more the merrier, what's that old saying about misery preferring company. Or something?
I would feel the same about wanting to buy things but they really need to make their own way when they leave. It's hard standing back isn't it?
Ramble away pet...you're amongst like minded souls. :rotfl:
SS.....loads of virtual empathy coming your way. :grouphug: Have a dodgy hug. (But remember it's only a hug, I don't want your fragile state reading any more into it......I like you only as a friend.:rotfl:)
Well I've moved on from feeling sad today...I'm now annoyed at the silly boy. Apparently he's been taking the odd day off here and there....when he was looking for his new car . He's now genuinely ill with the winter vomiting bug that's on the go up our neck of the woods and he's had to phone in sick. His boss is less than pleased (understandably)....I suspect it's a bit like the boy who cried wolf in his eyes.
So, I'm happy today.....I do annoyed much much better than I do sad.
Thanks for all the virtual support btw. :beer:Herman - MP for all!

I think I could put up with you pav.
:rotfl:
In fact .....you might even come in handy for the youngest's homework when I get stuck and can't help her.
Okay everyone....bidding war for pav. I bid a small single bedroom (daughter's old one as she'll be having son's old one) and a flake.
What?! Everyone likes flakes. :rotfl: Herman - MP for all!

That reminds me of when DS1 was going on and on and ON about how he was going to leave home. He was under 10 at the time. I did the "ignore the behaviour you don't like" routine for several days, and then I cracked. I told him why he wouldn't be able to leave home, BECAUSE NO-ONE ELSE WOULD PUT UP WITH HIM! I even went through all his friend's mummy's explaining why he wouldn't want to live there (cats, dogs etc) but mainly because THEY WOULDN'T LOVE HIM LIKE I DID!
He never mentioned leaving home again, until just recently. Bless.Signature removed for peace of mind0
