    Happy New Year!
Glad you had a lovely few days away....sounds fab:D

I'm with you on the summer clothes thing...must keep to the same size so it doesn't cost any money;) Mind you I bought a few new bits last summer as the year before's were a little snug...but I will NOT go up another size! We have sooooo many chocolates, biccies etc left. I got given so much as pressies from kids at school at the end of term.....but I can see it all making it's way to the staff room next week....I couldn't attepmt to eat it all:p

No brekkie here yet - DD1 has only just appeared out of her pit:rolleyes:

Ha ha...yep my Emily is still in bed too!!! Me and my friends went to a New Years Eve disco in the local pub and after the fireworks at midnight, we went back to the cottage and Emily was still awake at 3:30am playing card games with my friends when I dragged myself and her off to bed! She wasn't even tired! The LONG journey home was awful though and we have both been completely shattered!

I am having today as a 'don't care what I eat' day and will start the good foodies when I go to Tesco tomorrow! Might go this evening...will have to see if I can face it! I hate food shopping! That must be a right ol' mare with all those food pressies! I reckon I would wanna scoff the lot! I keep looking at what I have left and trying to work out where I can use it, e.g. for packed lunches for Emily so that will keep the food bill down!

Hope you had a good time over Xmas and the New Year too! Here's to happy DFW stuff this year eh! Been looking at the become DF in July 2012 for Olympics challenge thingy and might do the snowball calculator later to see if that would be possible once this silly bank loan is gone! It's the dam interest on the 2 massive cards that's doing it so might look at trying to get a new card with a 0% on it as haven't applied for any cards in ages...might be lucky?!?!

Hey up everyone! Hope all is good :)

Just a quick update really as buzzing about like a busy bee at the mo! Things going good...not much to report other than am being very good money wise and not spending! :) Have been doing really well food and exercise the last few days too! Went back to kickboxing last night which was fab and then went out for a 3 mile run at lunchtime...in the snow! First time I have ever tried rushing back to work!

It is freezing here! They reckon we are due a loada snow down here tonight so I am really really hoping for a snow day tomorrow! But doubt I will be so lucky! House feels mega cold despite heating on and several layers...I am gonna go and find my bedsock thingys to wear under my slippers I reckon!

Am getting very excited now as 4th bank loan payment would have gone out today leaving me with only 3 more to go! Was looking at the cards thinking that if I use the £175 to whack to a card each month, it will go down a lot quicker...plus when one has been paid off, using the money I used to pay for that along with the £175 should clear it in no time! I am feeling a lot more positive now thank goodness!

Yep - my 2 both off, and again tomorrow...all schools in BANES closed;)

DD2 went out to her friends and made a giant 7 foot snowman but DD1 says it's too cold (:rolleyes:) so stayed firmly indoors with me:p

As for 8 tins of mackerel....:confused: What on earth will you do with that?! (Don't invite me round for tea anyway!!) I wrote a list of everything in our cupboards last week - on Sat night, my sis did laugh at how I spend my weekends;) Still, at least I know we have enough jelly for a while - 4 packs of strawberry and about 9 sachets of my sugarfree jelly:D

I'm trying to use up stuff now too - def don't want to leave the house for a while to get anything.....aiming for Sunday?! We'll see.

Off to bed now....minus alarm clocks.....lovely:T

Hello one and all! Hope everyone is doing well in DFW land :)

Haven't been about much on here recently as have been uber busy! Days just seem to be dissapearing soooo quickly!

Can't wait till payday next week. Will get on and update my sig as hope to make a payment to the Virgin Card the day before payday. Am dead chuffed I still have some money left at the mo when everyone I work with keeps on saying that they have been skint after the early December pay! Whereas I was a good girl and kept the money until when payday would have actually been!

Foodie wise been keeping the bill down. Emily has decided she doesn't want much treat stuff anymore and I have been managing to shift some weight si I have been staying away too! Am feeling good, allbeit a little tired, but have been exercising each day where I can as well as cycling to work. My wieghtloss will stop soon I think as reckon I will start turning some of this body to muscle and that weighs more than fat!

Not long now until February...where has the month gone! But 5th Feb will be third payment to bank loan so then only 2 more...sooo excited! April should get a payrise too as would have been in my job role for 3 years! Only due about one more after that then my pay will stay the same as I will be at the top of my grade. Boo to that!

Have been watching somne cheap Ski gear on ebay so really wanna win it if I can! Lady selling jacket and saloppettes or whatever they are called, both at 99p with no bids! Lets hope they stay that way (but I really doubt the will!).

Had a great weekend last week as went to see my dad for his birthday. I took us all out for a meal, which was a little £££ but he is my dad and after spending all those years bringing me and my brother up on his own, I think he deserves a treat now and then!

Have one more birthday for a mate at the end of the month and Emily is off to a mates sleepover for her birthday so she better get a gift I suppose! Will try and keep it on the cheap side as soooo wanna pay of a chunk from that dam Virgin card! Once I get that out of the way and the bank loans gone, just those 2 mega cards to tackle...but that etra £175 per month should bring them down! Yay!

Better go as need to make soup for lunch tomorrow! Refusing to but lunch at work so make it every day! Gotta be done! There is a guy in my team who buys lunch every single day...must cost him a fortune!!!
