I have decided to only put £5 in my purse and see if I can make that last the week, not use any cards...and try to stay the heck away from Sainsburys as can easily blow money in there...even if I only go in for some milk, end up with a load more besides!
You are good - cycling in this weather:D
And good luck with the £5 spends this week....I'm the same though, a trip to Tesco is always costly. I just go to work, straight home...no chance to spend!!
As for Xmas shopping, I've done most of mine online too. Usually I like shopping but not at the weekends in the run up to Xmas...oh no;) I have a day off college next wed so my pal and I are off to a trip to Primark in Bristol, hoping it wont be too busy....no children with me, bliss!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Jeez MS...you know that Primark store is like 5 floors high? It is completely INSANE in there so make sure you and your pal stick together!!!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Wow! You'll have lost that 1.2 stone this week! cycling, kickboxing and ryvitas? Sounds like a winning diet combo to me!
I'm sure you'll get cheap waterproofs on Ebay or in the sales at outdoor type places
My sympathies over the extra responsibility for not much extra cash. In my experience you have to serve the time before you're worthy of the payrise, but even then, you have to fight tooth and nail to get it - or get another job  All good experience though0 -

Yes I've been there - girls love it! Going to stock up on stocking bits, all that jewellery/make up is dirt cheap, enough for young girls anyway:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Thanks Macgirl, will take a looksy at some outdoorsy type places and ebay too...probably opt for mens ones as no-one will know the difference...dark in the mornings / evenings anyway!!!
Hopefully I can start to shift a few pounds and try to find a way to keep it off. Fed up of getting in a rut and putting it all back on as I start to comfort eat! I need to look into why I am doing this and try to break the cycle.:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Glad you know what you are letting yourself in for MS!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Well resisted the temptation to go to the shops at lunchtime so no spends! That will make only spend today the kickboxing class later, phew! I wonder though why on earth I am paying to torture myself with the exercise!!! Mmmm!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Heya taka and beanielou
Hope you are both well!
I am sooo very achey from the kickboxing class. Legs are ok, just whole of the upper body! I need to work on trying to get stronger! Ouch!
Day 1 went well. No other spend apart from the class fee. Have managed to wangle a lift there and back each week so that saves me on fuel costs!
Going to spend my lunchbreak today trying to work out what on earth to get the DD for Xmas. Better pull my finger out and start sorting it asap! Teenagers are a right mare!
Talking of which better get her up as she will be late for school!See you all in a bit!
