  • Sorry that you find the DHL delivery drivers an absolute pain , I have been one for 2+ years and pride myself on offering a good service .... all agents operating out of our local depot do the same .... I have extra insurance for my car for when delivering and home for when any are stored here overnight...... We definately dont deliver 'when we get round to it ', we HAVE to attempt all deliveries the next day whether they are next day or economy , despite only getting paid when we actually deliver , if we dont get it delivered after 3 attempts then we dont get paid so obviously everyone is keen to get delivery made on a first attempt......

Nice to see you on this site. It means that you might be able to shed light on what this means when the DHL site says "HSD Out for Delivery awaiting IOD ". What it means in terms of when the goods are coming to our homes, that is. many thanks.
  • Oh no....the snow is falling thickly once more - onto already snow filled ground. You'd need a 4 x 4 to get through the narrow roads in Herts.
    It is beautiful though!

My delivery has been split into two. The first was out for delivery from Bristol Service Centre, but is now "Undelivered - adverse weather". I managed to get to work today and it's not *that* bad so that's annoyed me. The second seems to have been passed to a home delivery and is still out for delivery.

I can't seem to find any info about whether I can go and pick it up from DHL direct? I don't want DHL to keep using the snow as an excuse and would happily go and get it myself.
  • My first post so hope it helps someone.
I went to Metrocentre store this morning and they told me they had a delivery coming in in 20 mins, so queued and got the 2 I wanted. Overheard the shop assistants getting told by someone who looked like management that they were putting them out throughout the day rather than all at once so that people had more chance of getting one. Were limiting people to 2 each to try to get more people able to get them. They also think they might still be getting deliveries of them for the next couple of days or until stock runs out.
Been trying to get them since midnight the other night online and in all local stores and had almost given up, so a very happy cat today!
  • very impressed with the hatbox and it's contents. i used mine straightaway ;) excellent bargain :D
  • Just collected mine from Cheltenham (I ordered online at 5am Friday) and am thrilled to bits :j was gonna keep it for a birthday gift but have decided to keep it for myself :rotfl:

Soooo, I'm so bloody annoyed by now...

*Stayed up Thursday night until about 1am...silly holding page...
*Tried the website again from 6:45-7:45 on Friday morning, managed to get to checkout only for site to crash on me at the last step...repeatedly :(
*My friend went to the Stockport store for me, none in stock
*I went to the Ealing Branch, same story :(
    *None at Euston Station either

So after reading the Trafford Centre would get another delivery, I got up at 6:30am(on my day off!!!) today and took a bus at 7:15am, was supposed to be at the Trafford Centre at 8:33am....BUT didn't get there til 9:45am because of the snow chaos...I ran to Boots to see a lady leave the store with 2 hat boxes...I get all excited thinking they must be back in store. Walk around the shop looking for them and ask a couple of SA's on both floor "none...and we won't be getting any more" :(
Asked another one just to make sure and he said that there were only three boxes left from yesterday's delivery so if they're gone, that's it!

So I sat on the bus for 2 bloody hours for absolutely nothing and to top it off, my water leaked in my bag and now my phone is broken :( This OOTW is getting too expensive for me as my phone was still fairly new and I loved it :(

If anyone has an extra box and would be happy to ship it to me(I don't even want the silly box, just the products if that makes it easier to ship) please, please think of me :) Thank you!!!

I stayed up until 1 am as well and got my order through at 6 am Friday morning. I had to power nap on Friday to make up for the lack of sleep. Mine arrived this afternoon despite still saying processing on the Boots site and I now look like my lips could be used as a suction device to unblock drains. That lip stuff feels like someone went at them with a cheese grater then pumped them full of air. Anyway you have my sympathy and if I see one in town tomorrow I'll certainly remember you and grab one.
  • Mine is out for delivery so if DHL are running on time it should be here at 3pm-never used S&G before but really liked the look of it - going to have a pamper evening on xmas eve to de-stress ready for xmas day - not sure if to try the lip plumper or not after reading the above though!
  • Mines and my mums just arrived, there are 5 of these babys sitting in my house now! Very impressed with the quality of the actual box!
I bought one for my friends birthday tomorrow, and one for myself.
Just found out, my mum ordered 3, one for her, one for me for christmas (lol) and a spare!

So i now have 2 of them just for me :)
