I put a link on last night I think for the Lakeland cellophane bag for large gifts. They're really useful for round things as well.

Does anyone know if the White Rose near Leeds will have anymore stock in tomorrow? I tried ordering online last night and couldn't, had to work all day today, and by the time i'd finished they'd all sold out at the WR Boots store.

It AMAZES me how many items I see on e-bay that I know I can buy cheaper in many other places are more expensive on e-bay. It astounds me what people seem to be prepared to pay. I think they just assume they are getting a bargain without shopping around.

It isn't always the seller being a bit cute. A friend of mine put a worn once baby outfit on e-bay. She stated quite clearly that she'd bought it at Matalan (so we're not talking a designer label here) and what she'd paid for them. She was astounded to get 25% more than the price she originally paid!

after staying up til 1:30am and getting up really early to find the Boots website had crashed - I managed to finally get 3 hatboxes today in the EXETER store!!!! they had huge stacks of hatboxes from floor to ceiling - (which really surprised me as I went in at 2pm). there may still be some left tomorrow (Saturday) - but should think you'll have to be up early.

good luck if you are still trying to get one - persistence paid off for me!

I think I read earlier that WR is out of stock - the SA at Birstall retail park said that they would not be re-stocking over the weekend, only if they had more deliveries during the week, maybe WR is the same? If you call up to ask before making your trip they are usually pretty helpful, and you can always try Birstall since they had quite a lot in stock till late on in the day today and the retail park is just 10 mins away from WR by car.
