That £79 must have been wrong, the same person has another listing of this set with £7.90 as the postage. Unless they were being sneaky lol
I wondered this too at first, but the other listing is an auction. This one had a buy it now price of £1.
I also now think this was a ploy by the seller. If caught & challenged by ebay they could say..Oooops, I must have put the decimal point in the wrong place, a genuine mistake. Look, I have another auction for the same thing with P&P at £7.90.
Or is it me being cynical do you think?0 -

Amazing - you read some of the listings and quite a lot have managed to lose the receipt :rotfl:
When you check completed listings - someone bought one tonight at 8pm £48 inc P+P. Why? WHY? The offer's on all week! If desperate, why not buy one yesterday for £2 more and get the ad points and money off from the machine.
WHY??!!!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I agree - devious seller. She replied said it was ended and she ended it as it was an error - so why was it showing as having a bidder. I don't agree with it but I kind of hope the buyer is an auction wrecker and doesn't pay her.0 -

No, I reckon you're absolutely right. But their excuse wouldn't wash with ebay, because there is no way they would have made another mistake and listed it as a Buy It Now for £1, instead of, say, £25!
I said it before, but I'll say it again ...................... this board was such fun last night! Thanks to everyone for the great posts.
And I was right, wasn't I, when I said that in half an hour you'd want to kill that couple on the holding page! The skeleton mock-up was brilliant!!!!
Have a good weekend, and a good Christmas, and see you all in the sales!

Soap and Glory are getting some great PR from all this madness, but is it cos we all love Soap and Glory or because we all love a bargain that we've gone a bit mental over it? lol
I am very happy with mine though!I find this board makes me spend more than I save!:rotfl:0 -

Because poor unsuspecting buyers are desperate or don't realise they are being ripped off or are new to ebay - makes me cross seeing people ripped off like that.0 -

I have loved reading this thread. Thank you.
Ordered 3 online, all for friends at 5.45am. Paid by paypal but still saying order being processed so fingers crossed. Then couldnt resist at 9 oclock popping into the Sutton Coldfield branch and treating myself. They had 121 left in stock but didnt expect them to last til lunch.
This evening I went to Cribbs Causway at Bristol and couldnt believe my eyes, there were lots and lots of them on display (everywhere I looked) at 7.30 this evening. Beginning to wonder if I should have picked 3 up and cancelled the online order!0 -
