Lets do a little plan for the month ahead.

I got paid £1137 this month, and OH has agreed to put £100 a week towards savings/housekeeping.

    1137
-200 (paying dad back money i owe, only 100 left after this)
    - 40 (filled my car up )
    - 80 (food shop, came to 80 exactly!)
    - 60 (went to pub ....not doing that again)
    - 40 (CC Payment)

So left for the month we've got 717 left over, OH has paid me 100 but thats going straight towards savings, I also go a late x mas present of 20 again - savings and made 10 on ebay - also savings. My sister owes me 25 quid too!

I need to put as much toward savings as possible but it needs to be a realistic amount OH's contributions will go to savings so thats another £400, and then I think £400 from my money too. ( i went over my overdraft last month, so think i might have to pay some bank charges to that £400 will probably go down.... but we shall see.

I need somewhere to put this money - i'm tempted to get a sealed pot for it, internet banking makes in to easy to dip into.

I am being made homeless in a few months...i need to save to find somewhere to live, my bad credit means i need to offer six months up front. So minimum payments will have to be met and thats how it's got to be, all my spare money needs to go towards ensuring i have a roof over myhead in 5 months time.

My credit card is interest free and i won't be going over my o/d anymore.

I don't pay any interest on my o/d, I'd like to pay it off, but, then i'll just have to dip back into it when i move again? when i move i'll have paid 6 months worth of rent up front so can focus on clearing debts then as i won't have to worry about rent.

not sure, but nothing comes out of the account, apart from 2 direct debits, nothing gets taken by the bank - unless i go over the o/d but if i don't do that the balance just stays the same.

Thanks, it's something i'm going to have to look into, i'll pay it off with my savings, but it'll only go back down again when i have to move i guess.

haha so we no longer have the luxury of saving six months rent!! Hopefully a guarentour will be enough to help us find somewhere, going to view a few properties this weekend as we've been given our marching orders. Glad to be honest, need to get out of here, need a fresh start.

Just need to work out how to afford it!! ARGH.
