She didn't really get chance to make any friends in Leeds, but she knows the band (it's a pub covers band) and the people who go regularly. She needs to learn though that she can't just guilt me into doing things for her, if she asked nicely then I'd be more likely to agree, but she just demands. Like the thing on my birthday, she said 'you do realise if I don't get my contract renewed you'll have to help me move on the 2nd'. What kind of a way is that to ask for a favour?!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

And you should are going to have to learn to turn around and tell her

Actually since when is any of it my problem...if you don't get your contract renewed then it will be down to YOU to organise getting your stuff moved. She is demanding and treating you like her slave, like you have nothing better to do. She needs to learn that she is an adult and responsible for herself and you aren't going to be there to bail her out all the time!

Tree is in the house but I have no energy to decorate it now! IN fact just looked in the box and there are no lights..no either I put them seperately up in the loft or I chucked them away last year (they were about 8 years old and couldnt find bulbs to replace the blown ones). No I either have to go to the shed to get ladder out to get up into the loft and see or buy new ones....

    Morning all (well afternoon then)

Could DH not go look for them Sally?

I didn't wake up til 11.25am! Unheard of for me lately but was lovely, DH then made me breakfast in bed....(well DD2 made it, he directed). I'm now up, showered and ready and waiting for DD1 to faff with her eyeliner before we go for a walk/push along the cliffs...then it's back for an aldi 3 bird roast (giving it a try to see if we like it before xmas) ;)

    Hi all!

I don't normally pop into Daily Chat (I spend enough time on here without getting sucked into another addictive thread!) but wanted to nip on and say thanks to Lucifa, Beanie et all for being so lovely to us yesterday, I had a lovely time :D

I was very good and went home in time for X Factor as planned (It was bleedin awful so I went to bed!!) and made it to work in time for my OT this morning at 4am.

Nathan might have been a bit cranky Lucifa, but he's gorgeous!

Enjoy the rest of your day ladies and gents.
