Decided against pizza - I would only regret the expense in the morning and I had a sandwich at lunchtime.
Looks like Strictly then. I know how to live.
Ahem......3 square meals a day madam!!! You'd moan at your DD's if they didn't eat properly wouldn't you!
Ok so maybe you don't need to order pizza but please look after yourself."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
I've taken all your advice and ordered Domino's. I had taken meatballs out of the freezer but they're still nowhere near defrosted. Got my free pizza bread, wedges and dessert though! I'll probably save the garlic bread and have it tomorrow night with the meatball pasta.
I can't really leave the OU work, I've got nearly a months worth to get through to be able to get the essay done by next Saturday (I've already got an extension, it was due today). I'll settle down later with a drink of something nice, it's mainly just watching video clips and reading the odd extract.
Sally, you don't have to pay back a HB/CT overpay. As long as you gave them all the right info at the right time then it's official error and doesn't have to be repaid. They have a duty to ask for it back, but that's all they can do. However, you'll probably need some clout to get them to realise that, so it's worth getting in touch with CAB. Your councillor might be able to help too, it depends on how up they are on the rules.
Pooky, the same really - if it's not sorted out in a few days then get in touch with DIAL and get them to go shout at them. Or your Councillor to. Either of those will probably be quicker than CAB.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Bookie, I hope you don't mean that because you had a sandwich you can miss eating this evening? You can't cut back on food, no matter how bad things are that'll only make them worse.

It was awful. There were people everywhere. huff. Stupid people with trolleys and highly irritating children (And I like kids normally! but not in Sainsburys on a Saturday)Any how
Got my friend's presents and I think the rest can be bought online.
I need to a drink!!

I had a card through the post, it was a 'thank you for your last order' thing. Although the last order was a bit naughty. Ex bought it to say thanks for me typing his essay up and he just phoned and said he had a voucher for bogof and they agreed to it! He's very good at blagging when it comes to food, especially pizza!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Thanks for that Ames...Im just a bit confused by it all. Ive dug out the original allowance they sent and it does have the CTC amounts incorrect but I would have given them the forms they sent so I wonder if they haven't input it correctly? Anyway it will all change again from next week when OH goes onto income based JSA and the amount (according to their calculator) will be back to what it was previously
Pooky our council does that all the time, everytime you need to change something they stop the payments and have to re calculate, meanwhile leaving you with no money. I am seriously starting to wonder quite how we will live. Am thinking about taking the car off the road for startersI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

evening guys
Evie's having a nap whilst i tidy up a bit.
oops - no tidying done, went outside cos I could hear voices from the side of the house - police back looking for some (no doubt) spotty oik!
by the time I came back in, little pickle was wide awake and making her displeasure at not having her tea known! Just made her a cheese omelette which she's wolfed down. I think she wants a yoghurt so will let her have that! Then it will be a bottle of milk and hopefully bed before 8.15pm so I can have a lovely glass of chardonay!DFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debtnever attribute anything to malice which can be adequately explained by stupidity, [paranoia or ignorance] - ZTD&[cat]
