Evening! Really need to get on with more OU work but can't be bothered, I'll do some later.

I've just ordered a drawer unit from Wilkinsons for the bathroom, so that's another room finished. And I've found nice lightshades and a gorgeous mirror in B&Q but might have to wait till next month. On quidco there's a warning about not abusing the cashback (£2 per order if you collect in store) so I'm a bit wary of splitting it into two or three orders over a few weeks in case they think I'm scamming.

Then everything's just about done! Need another couple of bedding sets because of having a duvet in the living room, and then a big shelving unit from Ikea (which is next on my list of things to save up for with my change), and the flat is finally finished. Which is good, cos from January my budget gets a lot tighter.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • Have we heard from the Edinburgh people?
I have bought the turkey, put up DD1's tree and now want mine up.
The Bodyshop glitch was still working for me but I don't have enough in the bank.

DD2 has treated me for doing all her washing. Really fancy a Dominos.

    Evening all

Ive developed a flipping cold...I think Ive been keeping it off (just) for the last couple of weeks, determined to get to last night...then you relax and thats it it takes over. So from this mornings slightly sore throat I now have full blown cold and shivery cold!

Well met my sister for breakfast in one of her friends hotels and nearly died when they told me the cost £23  I did ask if the cutlery and plates were included for that price...told sis I would get my moneys worth so had 3 glasses of apple juice, croissant, pastry a roll and cheese then I moved onto a full english, cup of tea and managed to get 6 pots of lovely wilkinsons jams into my bag (ever the DFW). Thanks Sis because there is no way in hell I would have paid that price no matter how nice it was!

On the way home from the station DH and DD decided they wanted to go and get christmas tree, so plodding through the mud we chose and dug up. Couldn't get it in the car so a nice man offered to bring it back for us in his trailor :) Job for tomorrow will be potting it and decorating.

For those that have asked I haven't got any pics of me as they are all on my sisters camera..will post in a couple of days

Right sorry for all that waffle
Becky fab time/result on the run
Pooky hope you and clan are ok
Sammy glad Chloe enjoyed seeing FC
Ames can you leave the OU until tomorrow and have a night off?

    Who have I missed?

Phew decorations and tree are now up, and room tidied. Managed to persuade daughter to get rid of loads in the end, so have one big box of stuff on freecycle, and have already had lots of replies.

I have got all my yankee candles on and it smells really Christmassy in here now and we are just waiting for the chinese to be delivered!
