..I would kindly ask anyone that is going to say "duh yeah just get a job and you'll make more than £67.50 a week" please post a link to the job you have in mind, it has to be in the Stockport area, thanks.

I agree that there are many more job seekers than there are vacancies. Unfortunately, the longer someone is unemployed, the harder it is for them to re-enter employment - their confidence gets eroded and employers prefer recent work experience. I have been unemployed before and it wasn't fun and its hard to remain motivated.

Cash and Carry Assistant - Job No:SOO/58331

By increasing your search area to Manchester, 15 mins away by train, you will increase your opportunities.

dugdale if you work at JSA tell me why they took away the option on the jobseekers website to search for jobs with no experience? I might be going back 5, 7 or even 10 years.

Apparently you used to be able to search the website for that type of job but not anymore. It is things like this that make it harder to find a job. When I ask the job center for their sheet with no experience jobs on it, they never have the sheets anymore.

You can't really argue with the fact that in some areas, there will be unemployed people working on FND for X hours a week at £1.60 an hour working harder than some people that work a real job. I saw a job vacancy going in the provider's place. Talk about irony lol. I would apply but I don't think I would be suitable.
