I'd push for a goodwill gesture if I were you. I got a fiver for the festive fizz fizzing into nothingness and some people on this thread got a tenner!

I've e-mailed them back, with quite a strongly worded letter. It just sucks the way they have honoured them in no particular order.
I'm not bitter to those who managed to get their stuff, by no means, good on you, just the greedy gits that I'm  at

    Oh bloomng hell.

Yesterday had to enter a new card as apparantly there was somethng wrong with ny card.

    Today i get an email saying;

    Thank you for shopping online.

We are really sorry to let you know that 1 or more of the items you ordered are no longer available.

    Item(s)
    Wine Cards Deck

Please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment and inconvenience this has caused.

The out of stock item/s have now been cancelled from your order and you have not been charged for them. All remaining available items can be viewed in your online account.

So checked my order status it nows says ''despatching soon'' But my price has gone from £3.50 to £8.11 (which is a very odd amount).

Im tempeted just to cancel it as although it says despatching soon i can still change the other 2 items on my order.

I ordered around 8.30am and yes i am miffed at the greedy gits as its meant a lot of us have missed out. When if you had just placed a smaller order for what you actually needed NOT what you thought you could get away with, then more of us might not have had our orders cancelled.

Both my 1 festive fizz and my 3 port and mints were cancelled. I've had a despatch note for 3 items, After dinners sets and cocktail book.

The weird thing is, as the order was split in 2, they have split the £3.50 charge in 2 as well, so I'm only being charged £1.50! I'm happy with that.
Really sorry for those who have had their entire order cancelled! :( It's just not fair when some have received huge orders. x

Edit: My maths is a bit off...lol I'm being charged £1.75.

Hmmm I was about to post saying my order had arrived today which was due 14th but have seen that there are people who ordered before me who have had their orders cancelled:confused:

Sorry to hear that to those concerned does not seem fair - they should of cancelled everything or honoured it all - maybe do a cut off amount for those ordereing silly amounts?

I ordered later in the day as spotted the thread before work but had not got time to order so placed my order 1.30pm - pair of jeans, 1 festive fizz and 1 whiskey set - was not greedy! Just ordered 2 small things for gifts I needed.

My other parcel is in another depot miles away now which is 6 bottles of mulled wine for £17.99.

Am pleased with my items but sorry for those who were unlucky especially those who ordered after me.

It seems very unfair that orders are being cancelled when they have been sending very large orders for 20 of this 20 of that.

I just ordered 4 things all for gifts. I would liked to of ordered more but not at the expense of others not getting a thing.

oooooo I know what might do it, a dodgy threesome hug.......:grouphug: I find them very distracting!

You'll be pleased to hear that the riot gear will not be needed tomorrow as the order is still 'despatching soon. :rotfl:

Perhaps if I talk in short paragraphs I could make a long post and then you'd all have forgotten what was above by the time you get to the bottom......

Or maybe I'll get told off as my posts are too long.

I wouldn't want to get into trouble as I'm a good girl really ;)

Honest, I bet at least one of you believes me.

Where's cakeordeath or moneysavingmumofone when you need them?
