I am so surprised that people are buying at that price from ebay. Apparently the quality of these products is that not that good from what I have heard.0

How many times have you bought something in a shop and then gone back a week later and it has 50% off cos its on offer or in the sale.
And you then kick yourself for not waiting - i have done it loads and now i just wait.
If you went down the ebay route now you would be doing exactly that, only to find that a few days after xmas they will be cheaper on ebay cos the ''xmas factor'' is no longer there. Or better still we can get them in the shops for RRP, chances of them being in the sale are slim i think.
I know but I find it so hard to disappoint children at christmas
On a completely unrelated notehas anyone had dealings with people off gumtree or craigslist? Is it generally safe?

My husband uses Gumtree as he is a Car-holic... Honestly his insurance company questioned his motives stating that he was like some sort of dealer haha, anyway he has always found it safe etc0

:j I've just heard back from Carol from Hoorayfortoys.co.uk.
The reappearance of all the go go items on their website earlier, which were all shown as out of stock anyway, was done by their web guy who was undertaking maintenance on the site. It is NOT an indication that these items are going to be listed as in stock in the near future, and further stock is NOT expected till after Christmas.
HOWEVER, they do have a few, and I mean a FEW, hamsters which they are probably going to list on the website at the weekend.
Hooray tend to list in the evenings so if you need a hammie, then that's probably the best time to check. Please note, they are very strict on restricting numbers of go go items that people can order, as they want as many parents as possible to have the opportunity to purchase the hamsters they need. Last time, it was 2 per customer / card / address / order etc. Any attempt to exceed this resulted in the WHOLE order being cancelled. Also trying to get around this by doing multiple orders, also does not work as they have a very good system that checks all details and that can pick up people trying to make more than one order.
I expect that the hamsters will sell out in a few minutes, so the best thing to do, if you haven't already done so, is go onto their site, and register your details, then if you are lucky enough to be able to get a hammy in your basket, then you can log in (if you haven't done so already) and your address details etc will already be there which will save time typing them in, and you'll only need to complete your card details and tick whatever boxes need ticking.
No doubt people who don't read back will start asking about Hooray if it is dicussed on the later forum pages so I would suggest rather than people trying to regurgitate the info to each one, just advise them to look back at the post be my at 00.25hrs today if they want to know whats what:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -

Hi did anyone order online with TRU on Friday morning, and not had their delivery yet? Mine was due on wednesday, and when it didnt turn up i emailed TRU and immediately they refunded my money, seems very suspicious as if they knew it would never arrive. This now leaves me trying to find them again, to be honest i've completely had enough now and wont be trying anymore. My son will be so disappointed. But i refuse to buy from the vultures on ebay/amazon and play. Thanks TRU you really are a magical place.0
