I'm tempted to go down the buy it now route, not sure how much more time I can spend trying to order and it either being sold out or being placed straight on back order  it's driving me cra-zy!

    Dont do it!

How many times have you bought something in a shop and then gone back a week later and it has 50% off cos its on offer or in the sale.

And you then kick yourself for not waiting - i have done it loads and now i just wait.

If you went down the ebay route now you would be doing exactly that, only to find that a few days after xmas they will be cheaper on ebay cos the ''xmas factor'' is no longer there. Or better still we can get them in the shops for RRP, chances of them being in the sale are slim i think.

  • Hi all,
Was just browsing on woolworths, for gogo pets, all out of stock, but...
when I did the search carriers and the funhouse came up - I'm sure when I've searched before only hamsters and the garage thing have appeared ....Correct me if I'm wrong though....Maybe (a big maybe) they've listed in anticipation of stock (carriers were £5 too!)

Ive never ordered anything from amaerica - i always worry about getting hefty import taxes from customs.

  • Some good news for those new to the hamster hunt:

I only found out what these go go hamsters were at the weekend when I read online they were making £30 each on fleabay when the RRP was £10

I found this thread and got hooked, I had to have the hamsters!

I missed out on the tesco hamsters as I didn't get to checkout quick enough - too busy trying to make an account etc!

I got a fun house ordered today from tesco for store pick up tomorrow

I also popped into my nearest Argos as I couldn't find a phone number for them. Asked about the "blasted hamsters" to be told they had none. The manager was on the shop floor and kindly agreed to check when they were expecting more stock - she looked at the computer and called me over - they had 8 in the store but no-one had realised! There were 2 per customer so I bought 2 and called the OH to come and get 2 more.

I am now the proud owner of all 4 hamsters :D

So new hammie hunters, they are out there

Your not as daft as the idiot who bought this

Looks like money well spent to me  They could have wasted it on a holiday or paid some bills instead:eek:

You won't have to pay charges on anything under £18
  • Should have said Peterborough TRU told me they have a delivery of hamsters (didn't ask about accessories sorry) coming in on Sat - they open at 9am

My friend used to get me clothes for my clothes shop and boxes that had $1000 of clothes in used to get through and then small boxes with $30 of kids hair bobbles etc used to get stopped more often than not - it's just the luck of the draw if they choose your parcel or not!
  • Just a note of warning for anyone going to Makro - the stock updater is not accurate.

My friend called our local one, which was showing as 1 ball in stock. The manager checked her system and agreed that there should have been 1 there, but it was nowhere to be found. Worth a phonecall before you trek out - they will hold them for you if you give them your card number.
