Cuddy's has been great to hammie hunters...before xmas someone on the board discovered the online shop and we more or less bombarded the site trying to get the hammies and accessories.....I understand it is a small department store in N. Ireland.....the poor owner (Mr. Cuddy, we presumed) was overwhelmed with orders and though many orders were cancelled he spent a whole evening phoning people and apologising. Fab customer service and nice people to deal with. I've bookmarked them for future toy purchases!0 -
argos now has hamsters in stock, some argos even have the new 2010 range in, you can also click and reserve again for them, my local argos has more than 5 in stock, i bought a nums nums today, just need chunk then i have the 4 orignal ones, still looking for a garage and slide. i have pre ordered these expected stock due on 18th jan, from findagift. hope this is helpful, as i have had 4 weeks of hamster hell looking for them before chirstmas.0

Happy New Year everyone!
I managed to buy all 4 hamsters, and most of the accessories purely because of this thread! My girls were thrilled on Christmas day when they opened up their presents. I am not sure if I am the only one to say this, but it took me AGES!! to put it all together. The garage top does not fit to the base properly, so keeps falling off (so the doors do too). The house keeps coming apart, tha hamsters are always getting stuck in the tunnel leading up to the wheel. Chunk makes all the right noises, but does not move (even though we have changed the batteries).. So, as I type this, it all lies in bits in the corner of the room unplayed with. When I do spend the time to put it all together, the kids love it.. but if they "play" with it, it all comes apart! Has anyone else found this?100 day challenge £932.28 paid /£1,732.28:eek:0 -
Yes my thoughts are the same.
I think that the plastic is too flexible so it all just keeps popping part and is so flexible its very hard to get it to pop back in again!
That said my daughter loves the hamsters... I won't be splashing out any more money on them though!pinkpinkfizz

I agree difficult to put together - dosen't stay together and the bits that do you can't get apart
Having said that my two love the hamsters - wish I'd sold all the bits and just gave them them- I also won't be adding to our collection.:beer:0 -

I am sure this has been shown already, but without trawling 375 pages, I wondered if someone could please post a link to all of the new hamsters and bits. x0
