Happy New Year all (bit delayed I know sorry)

Not had time to catch up but wanted to ask about the Hamsters not going. My little boys numnums (thanks again funny.onion you star!) worked OK till about 27th/28th Dec and now won't go. His wheels were still going round but he wont move, i thought maybe battery was dying and they just didnt have enough force but even with new battery he wont go!! Its like his wheels spin but as soon as you even touch them ever so slightly they stop even though you can still hear the motor wizzing inside.....

Because I got him of Funny.onion I have no recipt, I did however rescue the box out the bin that DH tried to squash (argh) so am I best to package him back up and try for an exchange at Argos or are they going to want a recipt of some kind??

    Thanks for any help:money:

It's a bit cheeky, but you could always buy a new numnums in argos, then take back the broken one later using the packaging and receipt for the new one.
  • I got my boys pipsqueak and num nums for xmas as as motherof2 has said, was a nightmare to put together and the garage falls apart ALL the time! The stabiliser that came with the ball has been lost so the hamster doesn't go round in it properly. With regard to num nums,he went back to toysrus today for a refund as he was sooooo slow,we thought that was normal until my other son opened pipsqueak on boxing day(i know...after all the searching!!) and he bombs it around!!!

I'm coming from Lothians. Roads are treacherous here. Have the vet up that way so will need to put the dog on the harness. Don't fancy ice skating down Hutchison though she may beable to get me to Asda in no time at all :rotfl:

A belated happy new year to you all. I have to say i am very dissapointed with the hammies. The num nums never worked and i have taken back for a refund, mr squiggles has now also broke it makes noises but sounds like the motor is not connecting properly and the other are very slow and dont go well on any of the bits. The play house is so flimsy and they keep getting stuck going both up and down the slide the stabaliser on the ball falls of the hamsters all the time and none of the hammies can get off the wheel. They also all fall over all the time whatever they are doing. My little girl was so excited xmas day to get them but is now not wanting to play with them as they keep falling over and the stuff falls apart. Winkie and Patches seem to work the best so am hoping new stuff will be better as she does still like the hammies just gets a bit frustrated. Seems other have had problems aswell i was thinking mine were just a bad lot.
Looking forward to new ventures
