Vicki, my set looked a bit like yours...for a day  its now it about 8 bits scattered on the floor. Sick of putting it back together. (ps, your pics are too big makes it really hard to read page ;))

Add me to the list of wont be buying anymore I know a lot of expected it not to be the greatest quality but it hasn't even met my expectations knowing it wasn't going to be fantastic. Our ball has not even been taken out of the box. I'm so glad I only had the spanish set and couple of add ons in the end. I won't be buying anymore go go items apart from Jilly as I pre ordered and babies which can be played with on their own and are quite cute.

I've given my pink house from spanish set to another mse'r to save them wasting money if their child lacks interest so quickly... it certainly won't get played with here.

Disappointed after the hours of hard work that went into getting it all, maybe after the excitement of all the pressie's has worn off it might get played with...here's hoping.

And I was the lucky MSE'r. Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Mookie, the house arrived at 8am this morning and DD was very nearly late for school playing with it :p She does love it and told me to pass on her "WOW!!! THANK YOU!!!!" to you.
You really have made her week.

Thank you for showing us such kindness.

well our son likes the Hamster, but I still think at RRP that I got the stuff at, it was a bit of a rip off, some pieces were hard to put together, and realistically the £50 we paid could have easily been £20 and they'd still have made loads of money on it - son is still playing with it a bit but the ball is currently a prison where he locks up all his baddie star wars characters lol

Wikkity Wikkity Wikkity Lets go racing!
  • after our Pipsqueak broke after christmas (his nose fell off) :( i found stock in our local Argos 1 left & took it back yesterday well we were made up as the only one in stock was....Mr Squiggles!!!!:j very happy 3 year old ( & mummy!) so we now have Num Nums & Mr Squiggles!!
the girls working in Argos got to play with the broken hammy i bought back & were happily playing with it when i left!!
    mummy to 3 monsters!
trying to money save, but spot too many bargains on here!!
  • Happy New Year to all! I have finally managed to get back on here! Well Num Nums broke on xmas day? The motor gave up, luckily though Wilko's took it back and I managed to get a replacement from Play! Chunk on the other hand is still going strong! He is rather dirty now, but my 3 year old has been taking him everywhere, even to bed with her! I am not so keen on being woken up with it in my ear though? The house etc have been played with a few times, but glad I didn't worry about getting much? Now the OH has decided it would be really good to get our friends daughter Go Go stuff? After moaning at how much time I spent on the computer last time! I have a hamster and was hoping for a bed or carrier, but not sure I will manage that by this weekend?

Back to the Go Go hunt...
I am starting to wonder why I am still doing this?
  • I currently have the hamsters set up in DD's room. Haven't had any real problems with it so far. The hammies can get off the wheel fine and go up the tunnel to the slide without a hitch. Garage roof became a right pain in the @r5e after the 8th time of fixing it so super glue was my option!:D
Changed the batteries in each hamster and boy are they like lightning!!
I was savvy enough to obtain the ball before they became like gold dust - infact before the hammie hype craze and guess what..... it's never been used. Only bought one bed for hammies and so glad I didn't waste my money and time looking for the rest of them as this has never been used either!
Hamsters are a big hit and DD wants Jilly so will be buying her but that is the only Go Go pet item that will be bought.
The prices that they currently charge for each Go Go item could be halved just due to the quality IMO.

A big thank you to maximouse on the original thread because if it were not for her and her hard work she out into updating us with latest stock, I would not have known where to buy these other than Argos and Sainsbury's.
Also big thank you to everyone else who contributed to the Go Go threads.

my DS1 was totally unimpressed with his hamster, garage and skateboard..oops. He sold the stuff on ebay for £70 though so was a happy ending for him.

DS2 quite liked his hamster and house but has not been played with since boxing day. the house is very cheap and plasticky. not the best buy!
  • TBH the most played with have been the hamsters themselves here. They use them everyday , however have left them all set up downstairs so my littles will play with the house and slide. My son has never bothered with the skateboard but we use the u turn to connect the house. The ball is being used sporadically by my little one too.

Happy new year all. My DD loved her hamster but due to cousins visiting they keep getting put away. (sister wont allow them near her kids due to scare).

all hamsters work fine house and garage very flimsy. doors keep falling off!
Seems more fun to race them down the hall!!!!
Mr squiggles and num nums are definitely the quicker two chunk seems like he cant be bothered and is slower!
