Can someone clarify: I read a few pages back that when ordering playsets you MAY get 1 of 3 options, Is this true?
I though if it showed a car you got a car, a ball you got a ball.
Not very savvy re all these pets accesories.
One quick reply before I head off lol!
John Lewis clearly states when you open up the playset option:
These 3 Hamster playsets provide a range of activities to keep you and your Go Go Hamster entertained!
Set 1: Hamster Ball - Includes a 7" ball and wobble ball.
Set2: Skateboard and Turn Pike - Includes U-turn tube and a skateboard.
Set 3: Surfs Up - Includes a sleeping hut and surf board.
Please note there are 3 sets available. Unfortunately it's not possible to request a specific set, so please let us choose one on your behalf.
Unfortuntely this means you may receive any one of the three sets. The same as with their hamsters- you receive a random selection. Not ideal I know but it's a risk you take I guess- best to get delivered to store if you can and then if it's not suitable you can get an immediate refund.
Other retailers tend to sell playsets individually.

Good evening people I have ordered 3 sets of JL so im hoping that I get a ball in that I have the surf and skate board but i thought by ordering 3 they might pick me one of each.
Hopefully your order will be ok, two of us now (that have posted) have been to get our JL playsets and been given hamsters instead, seems they either packed wrong, or in my opinion, oversold! Now they have no stock and have to issue refunds! Fingers crossed for you0 -

not after ebay and paypal take their cuts, 10p each ticket from final value fee will knock £50 off that then paypal fee of approx 20p per ticket will take another £100.
granted, that leaves a very nice £350 for the illegal raffler but the £150 in fees makes you realise why grubby old uncle ebay is slow to put a stop to all this raffle activity.July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0 -

Thanks i hope your wrong tho as we have no Johnm Lewis stores in northern ireland so it will be hassle sending them back. Its a shame that there warehouse guys cannot read there picking notes but suppose they have hired monkies for over the festive season that dont care!0 -
What day did you order yours? I still have not got mine. I have emailed them to ask for a tracking number and also called dhl to see if they could find it from my postcode but they couldnt. I hope its not lost
even though i stated my full postal address in the notes section of my order, when my package finally arrived today, i noticed all DHL had to go on was the first line of my address!!! i noticed my phone number was on a sticker on the front of the box but that may have been from when i rang them yesterday to arrange redelivery. so maybe they dont have your postcode?July- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0 -

I love this - I think the badger one looks soooo cute - looks like there are going to be some pretty stylish carriers out soon too0 -
They arent essential but they are obv there for a reason and when you look at the track in the connecting tube on house there are grooves that the hooks fit down, so assume they do something, but not essential.
Can someone who has set up their hamster kingdom clarify whether the 2 hooks either side of the hamster holding it in the box are required for it to operate properly in the house and other accessories? My Chunk has come loose in the box and I am worried that he won't work properly without the 2 hooks. I had assumed that they were just packaging. Thanks.0 -
