I am so F****d off. Just been to collect my two playsets from JL and the idiots have sent two hamsters instead, now they obviously cannot fulfil the order as they have no stock. I am on hold to customer service fuming and they are phoning round stores that are showing stock to see if they can post two out to me! Whats the betting that they cant! How hard is it to read an order and package it correctly! IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

lol
Managed to get one from YTC last week. It was 2xrrp but tbh if I'd managed to nab one on TRU online it'd have cost me 2xrrp because of the £9.95 "remote" postage charge so I didn't mind so much.

Just incase we have any lurking techy types - does anyone know how to fix a wii cheaply? Our wii died last night and gives out "an error has occured.eject the disc" type message. Looking online it looks like it something to do with a laser or a light head and needs to go back to Nintendo but dust is also mentioned as a possible cause. Is it worth blowing a hairdryer through the part where the disc goes in or is that just silly? I'm well out of warranty as we got it not long after they first came out.
Before you start trying to do anything to it, Nintendo will repair outside of warranty, they offer a service with a fee I know its not very mse but a new one would cost a lot more. Ours had a problem similar to yours, ours kept having problems reading the disc and would just get a frozen screen and making a loud buzzing sound through the tv, it was outside of warranty, sent it away (they sent labels to cover costs) and it was returned to us with no charge! I wondered if it might have been a common manufacturing fault as we had hardly used ours and they did it for free even though it was well outside the warranty period. Might be worth looking into a proper repair, we were willing to pay the repair cost due to the cost of replacement going by their guide its £27.40 for minor repairs. http://www.nintendoservicecentre.co.uk/faqs.php# If you are willing to pay like we were and you are lucky enough to get it done for free then its all good.0 -
I dont think you will have much luck. Just been on the phone to customer services for 20mins and they have rang around 4 stores showing stock to get two posted out to me and they are now saying they dont have any either! So I have just ended up with a refund. Makes me wonder if they over sold the stock or just employ complete muppets!!!0

For those of you who have had trouble with JL regarding your playsets I'd contact customer services and ask them to refund your petrol/bus fares or whatever as this has been a wasted journey for you as a result of their incompetence. hth

I am going to send a letter as the woman on the phone was useless as well! I am 31 weeks pregnant, just had nearly an hour round trip and then they mess up the order! Its not good enough, I will definitely be sending them a letter. To be honest I think they oversold stock! Will be interesting to see if they list some more soon over the next few days!0 -

They really should keep back some stock to cover circumstances like this. Really bad luck, hope they manage to find something for you and post it to you (for free obviously!).0
